Reward Points/Zaishen Title Suggestion

Hi, currently Zaishen keys add 5 points to the Ztitle. I was wondering if it was a possibility that purchasing ATS armor/weapons could add points to the title. Example: 5 points per weapon purchase and 10 points per armor purchase.


Good idea or bad idea?

It'd make more sense then the current system.
But I can't really think of much that'd make LESS sense.
So in that aspect it's okay, but still 5 points for the high-tier weapons and 10 for armour is quite low, it should be scaled by cost.

Well. The keys are also Zaishen rewards. And since they may be also weapons, they would make sense too.

And people will not feel like 'losing' points for purchasing tournament rewards.

The game is better with no regrets. Bepople should not regret getting armor pieces instead of opening a chest.

Yeah, or else no one is going to get weapons anymore

while you are at it, doom, why not add on to your suggestion "exchange 5 tournament tokens for 1 zaishen key?" it is the same thing, no? 5k faction = 5k faction... which also = 5 points...

this would make our days......if exchanging were to come true. think of all the people that exchanged faction for tournie tokens before zkeys came around! and how often they may or may not even be using those tokens! :x

but i do sorta agree---now with the new zsystem---add rep points per unlock.....since those things are already 1-time-use items anyways....but then again we already are "rewarding" ourselves for unlocking upgrades....:/

The title itself should be changed to work like this:

"For every 1,000 Balthazar Faction or 1 Tournament Reward Point spent for purchasing rewards or Zaishen Keys at Tolkano gain 1 point to the Zaishen Title track."

Opening the chest should not award any points.

Only this way the title would be properely rewarding.

I agree, though PvE'rs want their emote. They get it this way.
Also Anet needs to update the costs to unlock armours. For example a FoW set would cost 525k (90ecto+75k), while unlocking it costs 1000 RP, which is 1000k if you get keys and sell them @ 5k each.

Buying Zkey from RP and then sell them to PVEers is the way to go atm
