Hey everyone. I played GW a long time ago when it first came out, and that was on a friends computer. I plan on buying the game here in the next few days, but I was wondering a few things. Which one should I get? Also is there any Role Playing in this game?

I would start with either Prophecies or Nightfall.
-Prophecies because its just a good beginner game with fun story line.
-Nightfall because it has a very fun story line that is nice and long, and at the beggining it gives a good grasp on the basics.
A good roleplaying thing you might be looking for is "Polymock" Which is from "EotN" - Polymock is like a weird version of pokemon battling. lol

everyone will have there own opinions but i have proph. and GWEN. got it in plat edition. i enjoy them... i just purchaced the factions plat. box set also for my son and it seems pretty cool too havent tried it yet though.

Yea I was thinking about getting Factions, just because I like the Chinese/Oriental theme.

In my opinion, Factions was the most boring of the 3 for the story line - but...you can level to 20 in like 3 days from just "moderate" play. Also I like the Rit and the Sin a lot, they are fun either way.

Man, I just don't know which one I should get! I don't really like the theme of Nightfall, but maybe I would be better off getting that one, or the the starting one. So confused!

I agree, the theme of NF isnt all that cool - but in case you didnt know - Factions is only really "chinese/traditional" on newb island mostly. (there is some of the "chinese" theme on the main land, not as much.
I just found the story line of NF to be the most entertaining. You also get to use heroes which was a nice addition to the game...

Cool cool. I think I might pick up factions, see how I like it. The games aren't very expensive at my game shop, so if I don't like it, no harm no foul. \
