Weird looking Flame Artifact

Like the title says. I've never come across a flame artifact that looked like this. Just wanted to know if this is a common skin or not.

Can´t say i've seen it before.
My wife has a RP Fire Mage and quite a collection of artifacts, and nope havent seen that one before.

I've noticed a lot more of these types of posts lately. Perhaps the drop rate of these other skins has been changed, or they're just dropping in more places?

i've seen that before, in old ascalon, some level 17 was using it

I don't have any proof, but I'm sure Ive seen that skin in Pre-searing.

I have gotten like 3 of those in the last 2 weeks in the desert area. So I can't say if it is really that rare of a skin or if I was just lucky.

got a purple one out of a shiverpeak chest the other day. Silly mods on it tho so i think its gonna be getting merched.

The drop rates of more "unique/rare" skins does indeed apear to be increasing as I've seen tons of more new skins in the last 2 months vs all the time playing before since game release.

I've started seeing some new skins on artifacts as well. A Grim Cesta that dropped in Travelers Vale looked mighty weird compared to what I normally see. Which is kewl, we need some new skins/graphics in this game. Especially weapons. The Icy Dragon Sword really looks kewl also. Now I have one of each Fiery and Icy.

Heh, I made a Fiery and Icy Long Sword (collectors) of Defense and Fortitude really cheap. The +29 hp Fortitude mods can be bought rather cheaply if you are patient got one for 10k. And Defense +5's are 3k and the Longsword is a collectors item in the desert +15% w/enchanted. Really sweet and cheap good weapons. I go in the arenas and whoop arse just as good with these swords as those do with 100k +10 ecto weapons do. lol I'm working on Axes next, the desert has those as well +15% w/enchanted, but, I bought one that was Icy Spiked Axe of Defense +15% > 50 and +5 Armor for 5k (yeah a steal huh?) , I only use it in Hell though. Icy not as good as Firey. Axes need more graphics flare too, a Firey Axe or Icy Axe should have some graphics like the Chaos Axe which is over-rated I think.

Can't wait for the new skins in the expansion. Can't wait for the expansion. lol R/Assassin should rock. I wonder if Duel Wield is going to be their primary skill? It would seem logical or there will be a lot of W/Assassins running around. Could be backstab though or stealth, who knows. lol

nah that's old, just a bit rare

been there all the time, months ago they used to drop from ice golems in the southern shiverpeaks. looks like they now also drop on other places.

Almost all the Gold flame offhands I get from Darkstone chests look at that.

I've never seen such a flame artifact before but now there's atleast 3 different flame artifacts around (not counting the greens)theres also the one that looks like a wand or staff and the ordinary one that's shaped like a flame

During the betas, it was a common drop, i used this kind of foci with my ele, since the release it became a rare drop.

I had a 10/8 gold one from a Miners Chest a long time ago. Not really rare.

Its one of the harder to find skins for the flame artifact, tho ive only gotten them in fissure. I believe ppl call this particular skin the "eye on a stick" flame artifact, like how that monk focus is called the "pimp cup"

I don't like it. Something is unsettling. Maybe its the floating eye?
