I've got the problem as well. But I don't usually notice it as I go through guildwarsguru.com/forum .

I've been having the same problem anytime I go through IE (my preferred net browser). I don't have the latest version of IE though, which may be the problem (who knows). Firefox seems to load the page fine.

It has been broken for me also in Opera 9.27, Fire Fox sees it just fine tho.

Firefox has no problem but it does it with IE.

Moved to site feedback. Seemed more appropriate.

Inde, I don't know if it is related, but after you took off the gold selling site from the front page, is when mine went crazy. I am also using IE.

We were working on this last night. This problem is only for IE users right now. The google ad server is trying to call a function that isn't there so it's throwing a javascript error and stopping the rest of the page from rendering. For Firefox users, it looks past the error and continues to render the rest of the front page. We are still working on it, I'll give updates as I can.
thelessa
Nope not just IE users, Opera is still having a problem with it.

I use firefox and have no problem with the home page. Not a single problem like this for me either,- I use Firefox as well!
I do however have problems around 11.am-1.pm GMT every day!
I suspect the servers we run on are doing some maintenance during that time, the entire site keeps lagging out for me!
Since it's US servers and it is in the middle of the night US time - it stands to reason!

I hope you get it fixed soon. This is driving my wife and I nuts! Take a look, getting to the forums is a pain this way.

Save the forum page to a favorite, then come right here, only thing is you cannot see the most currently started threads w/o looking in each section.

This is what the screen looks like in Opera 9.27

is this still happening? I think the page was timing out due to an inline text ad script that is now removed.

It's still happening to me. I'm using IE.

Opera 9.27 won't display correctly. Disabling Java and Javascript resolves the issue(somewhat). There's no newest forum topics without Java, so I'm guessing that is a javascript feature.

still happening for me on IE

I still have this problem. I can still get into the forums but only by clicking on a most recent thread. Fairly annoying. The trade forums option doesn't show up either.
I'm also on IE.

Still happening to me too with both 32bit & 64bit browsers.

ok im posting here using the latest opera version and cannot replicate the problem, need more help here, for those using Opera, is it the latest version? Once you load the page and then go to Tools>Advanced>Error Console , does it say anything else besides CSS Errors? Are you on slow connections and does it seem like the page is timing out? Really trying to figure this out, pls help as much as you can
thelessa

can you view the source and copy it all to a .txt file and email to me andre @ mmoguru dot com . Also is anyone getting this problem who is not in the US?
Snograt
Oh, interesting - a US-only glitch. That would explain why I haven't had it on IE6 on NT4 and IE7 on XP32, Vista32 and Vista64

I still have the same problem, this time I got the error message: Fatal error: Call to a member function unlock_tables() on a non-object in /home/guildwarsguru.com/public_html/forum/includes/functions.php on line 4391
I have attached a zip file containing the source code of the index page that produces the error.
