Question with play nc

As news of different hacked accounts going around, I decided to make a PlayNC account in the hopes of changing my password. So i made my account, but I have no idea how to add my existing GW account to my play NC account. Please help. Yes, I have all my CD keys, but there is no place to enter them, verifying that that is the account I am using. I click on the "Game Accounts" tab, but all it says is none. Please Help.
Edit:The Email Address that is the name of my account is not mine, I got it from a friend long ago. I do not have access to it. Is this a problem?

You can change the password without needing an nc account. Log into the character select screen, click edit account, then change password.

enter current password.
enter new desired password
repeat new desired password
hit next. password changed.

This doesn't work however once you have created earlier an Ncsoft account. Choosing the option to change your password will take you to the NCsoft support website. This is the case mostly for those who handled support tickets before.

Huntmaster:That doesn't work for mine, it sends me to the plaync site. I sent an email to the person that had the account for me, seeing if they could send me the verification code, however, im not sure if that email address is used or checked at all anymore.

While you cannot change the "account name" email address, you CAN change the contact email address. As long as one of those accounts is active to receive the verification, you are ok with ArenaNet/PlayNC.

Yeah, it's odd. I've tried a couple of times myself. Got two GW accounts and two NCSoft accounts. One of the NCSoft accounts has a single GW account recognised and the beta of Tabula Rasa. The other has ...nothing.

Doesn't stop me ordering through the online store for either account, nor changing passwords. It's rather odd to say the least.

Neither of my GW accounts have had theft attempts, as far as I am aware, but I did have someone trying to reset the password on my NCSoft account the other day.

Worrying times.

I have a Play nc account, but i dont know how to add my gw account to this. Does the email attached to my gw account have to be the same as the email i use for my play nc account?

have you tried recreating the email address if it has been deleted by inactivity?
(try to create the same address at the host).
