Some people do it like that, other do exp grind which was Prof/ R barrage + splinter weapon on Turai's Procession.

On my ele on the otherhand I capped about 120 Skill to get legendary and that's still a big effort.

nobody ever maxed a pvp title. probabile 2-3 will max hero in 2008, don't see anyone maxing champion/commander/gladiator.

slight chances for gladiator, but doubt the 2-3 ppl seriously going for it will have the will to stick to it for another 12-18 months

imo skill hunter is a title i like to see on people....i now you could just buy all the tomes but you still need to have unlocked all the elites..also legendary carto and vanquish are other pve titles i respect....and any high pvp titles such as r12+ hero or just high glad champion titles

I got LS by playing through Prophecies, plus a little Factions and EotN, near the end. Others have also gotten it by just playing the game without gimmick-farming.

Savior of the Luxons/Kurzicks for me. "Savior" just sounds so sweet as a title. The faction may be farmable but I think people who actually care about the title go that far since I don't see it much.

Also Legendary Defender of Ascalon, props to anyone who is patient enough to actually stick in pre getting this title.

it used to be an impressive title, but its pretty damn easy since runes + insignias came along on the collector armour, and the /bonus weapons made charr hunting easy as hell, and the only hard part left is having the stamina to death level all the time.

i guess it is still the most prestigious to me, but my favourite is legendary skill hunter.

Fixed it for you. No matter how you slice it, all titles are grinds, time owns skill. You could be the greatest pvp'er in the world, but if you dont put in hundreds of hours, you dont get any titles. Simple as that.

Nothing insane at all and I did not reach it by playing only C1. Of course I capped, did the quests / missions, took advantage of triple XP, explored / mapped, used scrolls on occasion - mainly when I was in striking distance of the next tier. Playing some Factions and EotN gave me enough XP in the final stretch.

I'm not really a title worker, nor do i really care for them. No titles impress me, same goes with elite armor and weapons. It just shows you either work hard in-game, cheat, play way too much, etc. It is only a game, why should these things matter?

When the first lot a title maxers came I would agree, but by now even with just 1 or even 1/2 an hour a day you could max a couple of titles and the more time that goes by the less I think that it's just losers.

I really respect the people that have got all the Legendary Cartographers. Those titles take a heck of alot of time. Also the vanquishing ones are respectable as those also take time and some amount of skill.

I don't think any titles are impressive. Though often players that impress me often have such titles... There's some RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing godawful rank5 champs, rank 12 heroes, and absolutely for certain r7+ glads who impress me about as much as my cat sleeping.

They are all a grind.

To me, PvE titles are just boring grinding titles.

Hero titles aren't that amazing, just shows you play HA a lot.

Champ title was nice before but now that a lot more guilds are hitting champ range and people sell their smurfs to bspikers, the lower tiers aren't anything special

Honestly, in PvP, people aren't going to know you by your titles. They'll know if you're good or bad

attaching the word "prestige" to a title is kinda funny imo. it may be an accomplishment but prestigious? i don't think so.

no title i see makes me look twice. if i see someone with r5 koabd or some other absurdly time consuming title, i can't help but start to judge. i either think that person has way too much time on their hands and needs to get a job or that their priorities in life need adjusting.

there may be a small percentage of title seekers who are able to juggle real world obligations with their in-game goals, but i'm sure that the majority need to re-evaluate their lives.

- KoaBD at highest levels (everytime I see one I wonder if I actually will be able to make it someday)

- Every PvP title in a very high level, always impress me (make me wonder when and who will be maxing a PvP title ever)

- Maxed Kurzick/Luxon title always impress me, it need a ridiculous amount of time.

The one that really impresses me is the Vanquisher titles. Those are insane, I myself am Vanquishing and I'm finding it intense. I take my hat off to the Legendary Vanquishers out there...

The KOABD, God walking - those are fairly impressive.

Pvp Hero, Glad titles are really interesting.

I used to think that Savior of the Kurzicks or Luxons was a big deal about 6-10 months ago. Hfff made it easy but longggggg to get. But i am not a title grinder, so most titles to me are blehh...

There's no grind in achieving these titles, they require knowledge and planning.
With the right group or buildset they can be easy, but last time I checked easy =/= grind.

Legendary Protector, Legendary Guardian. Oh look, two more.

I respect pretty much all of the titles, but none of them mean squat to me if the player wearing them is an asshat.

The title I respect the most for pve is " God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals" it shows you played and conquered the game. Secondly I like " Legendary Master of the North" they should have implemented this concept on every campaign imo its just a very nice well rounded title.

For pvp its hard to say with many scrubs abound at all ranks. Definitely respect the guys with gold capes which is a very nice accomplishment of skill and teamwork. I'm gonna say r10 hero for HA many players grow alot in skill from r9 to r10 but beyond that I wonder if its just staggering grind. For a casual player r9 is a fine accomplishment and very respectable.
