Site Admins - Just an FYI

I haven't played GW in a long while, nor have I been here in a long while. But I keep getting notices about a Private Message from GWJane. The URL in the email goes to http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/private.php which, incidently is your sites URL for Private Messages. The problem with this though is that there are no private messages waiting for me. It's like a spoof email but not.

Note - only reason that I'm posting here is because this seems to be the most relevant forum.

Site feedback is the place for this. Inde (site admin) is aware of the problem. PM her, and she will deal with the account.

I think what happened was you did recieve the private messages, but the user- being a spam account- was banned and all sent items removed.

So the email was genuine, just the spam was cleaned up before you got to it.

I think Inde explained this better than I can recently.

Spammer creates Guru account - spams a few PMs - gets reported - account gets deleted - users get confused by email notifications of deleted PMs.
