Vanquishing The Sulfurus Wastes

Been trying to vanquish the Sulfurus Wastes without any luck. Got stuck today trying to find what appears to be the last few groups of Margonites. They are on hill to your right coming from the Ruins of Salijha. There appears to be two or three groups up here with no way to get up the hill.



Also near the large group surrounding a necro boss is an infantryman with a quest marker, we couldn't find out how to get to him either. Any ideas?

There's a pillar above and to the left right around where your first screenshot is that you have to knock down by using Junundu Smash near it. That'll make a bridge over to the area in question.

There is a pillar that needs to be knocked down with jundunga smash, there should be more info on wiki.

It's also related to a quest that is often used for sunspear/lightbringer wurm farming

I was wondering about the pillar ... jundu smash hmm.

reminds me of Wheel of Time - having to throw fireballs at a pillar to make it drop low enough to give you something to jump onto across the chasm.

Oh I remember having problems with that pillar and it was a real bitch. I had to kill one of my heroes, have a MM-hero make minions out of it and build adrenaline by attacking the minions. Yes, I am very smart and eventually I managed to vanquish the area.
