Stupidest thing you have deleted in GW?

I thought of this after an incident today while deleting bonus items from my inventory, and accidentally deleted a monumental tapestry......Needless to say i was kinda pissed, as i gotta fork out the cash for another one, but it got me thinking, Whats the Stupidest item you have trash canned or merchanted in GW?

Also, my most /ragequitnotplayGW moment was putting an attunement rune over a Superior Vigor rune. now this may not seem like much, but this was in my noob days when i saved for MONTHS to get that rune.

Anyway i hope there are others like me, and i want to say that you are not alone.

All those PvE charatcher with loads of armors and weapons.

i personally havent done anything stupid in a long long time, though back in the day i put a sup rune on my starter armour (dont ask) and then couldnt get it off again, so that was 60k down the drain. and there was that time i spent 100k on keys i didnt want, i thought the merch value number went to zero after you bought in bulk. needless to say, it doesnt.

A guildie of mine merched a r9 pyroclastic axe, and someone else i know deleted two torm weps when they were worth alot thinking they were the bonus items he was trying to get rid of.

All i can think of

i merched a gold q9 FDS once... back when they were worth alot more than they are now too....

I accidentally merched a stack of Damask...I was pretty pissed about that.

Not sure I'd call it the stupidest thing I've deleted, but the only things I've deleted that I regret are a number of 15k armors due to space issues.

Nothing much which I deleted accidentally. But a couple of deletion in the past which I feel wasteful now:

A couple of characters with 15k armor were deleted back at prophecies and factions where character slots were limited. (war, monk, mesmer, ele, ranger)

Couple of warrior 15k armor deleted/salvaged to make space for newer, better armor.

My pvp char that was my storage >_> Lost around 400k then.

he didnt say merched..he said deleted. which you can do.

The one time I threw away 29 Destroyer Cores, thinking they were those Glowing Hearts that Fire Imps drop. That's what I get for staying up way past my bedtime.

back when i was new and found my first black dye in pre-sear...didn't know it was worth anything and merched it for the 1 gold. =(

When i first started GW my friend gave me 100k cause he used to buy lots of gold online. So i was one of those newbs and i thought i had lots of money. First char i made was a W/N, totally rocked plague touch + soul feast. He had 15k gladiator armor (prophecies days) and i realllly wanted to make a W/Mo for vigorous spirit. I was so stupid, i didn't even know you could switch secondaries at the time at GToB, so i deleted it and remade him.

He would almost be 3 years old if i'd have kept him. >;[

You couldn't change your secondary at GToB three years ago. Get your facts straight Bwn noob.



I've deleted several sets of 100k.

Umm, I don't think I really ever deleted anything....It sucks to be me....I can never make money in any game....I only have one piece of 15k haha.....I can't even fathom having 400k Anyway, hmmm I might've asked a few stupid questions though I hate abbreviations I don't know. I always have to ask what they are because I know most skills/weapons, but no abbreviations....

Ok I'm getting off topic...Actually, probably a Req. 9 Illusion staff, max, +10 enrgy (obviously)....and 20% chance to halve Illusion spells.....then 2 other crappy mods

Soooo long story short, I salvaged the 2 bad mods and the weapon broke
Probably not as bad as some of yours but I still got mad.

Oh yea, and I deleted a couple of customized R7s on an old character... wish I had put them in storage before deleting her.

If they were customized you couldn't have sold/re-used them anyways.

I didn't delete/merch anything really expensive so far as I've always been quite careful, by using stoppers in my inventory and not merching stuff too fast and double-checking the stuff that I am about to delete.
