took me about a year to get KoaBD on my sin.. course i didn't really care about it untill i realized i was running out of things to do.. so i started working on titles.. 14 max atm on her and a few of my others have 2-3 maxed just cause they were easy (protectors and whatnot)

about a year, or a year and a half O.O For a long time I was like, "lol titles are dumb" but then... I got bored? I don't know - I became more goal oriented once I started figuring the game out more, and hanging out more with my guildies, I think.

Well, i just focused on completing the campaigns first. I explored as i went, and only had a little left to explore after completing each campaign - so i basically had 3 maxed from playing casually.
I wouldn't include the above as time put into KOABD, as i was playing for the sake of playing, rather than thinking about the next title to grind. So basically, it took me less than a week to get r1 KOABD, as that's how long it took to get 2 protectors.

A year and a half. My first, the warrior, has had 4 titles for a while, and then I was very surprised when I noticed that once I maxed out Norn, I got the first title.

Only 4 titles after nearly 2 years, but in the next few months I'll probably get to r2 very quickly, may be even r3, as there are a few impending titles (well, exactly 3 GMCs which are around 85% now, 3 Guardians, 3 skill hunters at 50% atm, and probably Norn and Asura which are around 50% now).

I had already maxed Tyrian and Canthan Skill Hunter and Tyrian and Canthan Protector when the titles came out.
So: not too long if you count from there. Had been playing a lot to get to that point before then though.

Took me a few months of trying and then that was it, its a pretty easy one all things considered, now with the books and what not its not too bad either to get to rank 2, ive no idea how people get past that though lol

It took me a while, IIRC. I had all 3 protectors and 2 Guardians outta 3. I don't exactly recall what I did to get from a rank to the next though.
I'm R5 ATM, aiming for R6. I'm just working on other stuff beside money farming for titles (mmkay... money farming for armors >_>); if I ever get off my lazy butt I'll be R6 in a few months.

It took me 3 years to get r1 KoaBD on my Paragon. (Wink)

Basically before EoTN I divided my playtime between my characters, but when it came out I switched to the "one main character" theme. I had several maxed titles all around my account, but I don't think I had more than one on each character.
So, I wanted 1st tier KoABD on my mesmer. I started a couple weeks ago, did all three Protectors and now I'm on my way to maxing Sunspear and Lightbringer. Shouldn't take too long, depending how much I'm bothered to grind a day.
After that, though, I dunno what I could max next or if I even want to. Every title takes a lot of money, well maybe Cartographers don't, but that's just so tedious. But 1st tier is enough for me for a while anyway.

Completed all missions/bonus in Prophecies.
Titles were introduced and I could care less about titles.
Factions came out. Completed all masters in Factions.
Nightfall came out. Completed all masters in NF.
HM was introduced. Completed all masters/bonus in HM for all 3 chapters.
Since I apparently have maxed 5 titles by this time, I got it some time after 2 years I think. TBH, I don't know for sure since 1) I don't remember the exact release dates and 2) I don't care about titles and don't work on titles.

1 year for rank1, then got r2 within next few months. Taking break from maxing titles, as I don't have any money needed fo capping and vanquishing bores quite much nowdays...

Ugh, cant be bothered with titles. Too boring. Have been playing for almost 2 years and I got *hold on to your lungs* 2 (!!!!!!!!!!!) maxed titles. And I am NOT planning on maxing any more titles anytime soon. Those 2 titles are protector of Tyria and Cantha, which I got when I was helping guildies getting their titles. Was an accident

Lets see... I got KOABD[1] in about a week... it took me longer to get Legandary survivor then i thought... did not think of the dwarven boxing trick at the time... Used the HM worms outside of Boreal Station with scrolls each run was worth 8-12k a run for about 50-60k an hour.
I reached KOABD[6] ( God Walking Amoungst Mere Mortals) just over 5 months... i could have actually done it in under 5 months but i hit alot of the good farming weekends... easter/xmas/gail party/ to collect all the party and sweet points i could to offset the cost... plus i was out of time a few weekends hitting a few concerts... and yes i have a full time job working 40+ hours a week and have written a number of books in my free time... on average i only sleep 5 hours a day.
lets not forget that 10,000 of these minutes were spent hanging out in the guild hall getting drunk

I've not been caring about titles since like 1 year ago....took me 3 weeks to get r1, then like another month to get up to 14 titles...now I should bring LB to get r3 koabd, which really upsets me....I don't know if I'll ever do it :l *waiting for double weekend*

It took me a month after I created my first Nightfall character to get 3x Protector titles. Went back to Nightfall to finish Cartographer and Sunspear (took about a month for me to get around it).
Eventually finished up Lightbringer too, now I just have to be really bored one of these day to knockout the other two Cartographers and finish getting all the Elite skills. Delver and Norn titles are getting close to max also.
