Hi all, I recently reinstalled Guild Wars (original), after about 2 years of not playing. To my surprise, the game seems to have installed Eye of the North, as the background of the log on screen clearly displays an icy land backgroud with Eye of the North in the title. I never bought Eye of the North, it just installed like that. Is that normal ? Do I have EotN now for some obscure reason ?
Thanks
Is Eye of the North free ?

no, you don't
the title screen just changes every time a new game comes out.

Anet changed the log-in screen for each upcoming campaign and expansion whether or not you have installed the said campaign or expansion pack.
So unfortunately no, the Guild Wars fairy didn't visit your account and bless it with Eye of the North

No, EotN is not free.
Login screen changes each time new campaign is out. And no matter what you have "-image" comand downloads the whole GW.

Yep, the log-in changes for each campaign. But I wouldn't recommend getting EotN unless it was free. The only thing worth it in there is Ursan Blessing for quicker team farming. Other than that, it's a horrible game.

Sorta sucks that it changed though =) I preferred the NF one.

Nah, the original one was the best, y'know the camp fire one.
