NCSoft customer support = epic failure on so many levels....

By the time they reply or god forbid manage to help you i think you'll be cashing in your pension plan, assuming you haven't already :P.

When I was in Germany, I was not able to order City of Heroes/Villains through thier website. I called them, and thier response was thier system could not handle transactions outside the United States. I'm not sure the exact reasoning or issue, but I know that's what I was told.

On another note, if you can stand to be patient (and shipping isn't ungodly), it's actually cheaper on MANY websites. I don't know if they have the ability to ship to New Zealand (cheaply) but a few sites that have the game(s) for cheap are Amazon, Target, Circuit City, etc. I believe all of them sell the platinum edition for cheaper than you can get/dl it from NCSoft for. (you might also be able to order it from EB Games online, since they have a local store, I'm sure they can ship there).

Last night a friend who had been away from GW for a few months had come back and was looking to purchase a PvP unlock pack and was getting the same error. He even tried to purchase EOTN instead of just the PvP pack and it would not go through. He has used the online store in the past.

I doubt the problem is on your end and it is on NCSoft's end.

Hopefully the store is just down for a bit while they update their security.

Like madmax0877 said buy from Amazon or somewhere, I bought Factions from online store (purchase went through with no probs btw) but now when I see my C'Ed. of Nightfall, I wish I had bought a hard copy of Factions

I think if you buy from Amazon etc. you can pay a few extra bucks to have it next day (if you're impatient like me ) not sure if thats possible for New Zealand though, it's a bit off the beaten track

I just bought Factions and NF for my wife from Amazon. Total including standard shipping was $40. I haven't found another site/store that has NF for much less than that, definitely not both.

never used the ingame store, i buy direct from ncsoft have you tried that?

Amazon.com is where I got all my GW chapters & expansion in the past two weeks. Best prices I could find and quick delivery.

You can buy a key code fairly cheaply in many places online and as long as you have a decent connection, just download the game client from www.guildwars.com You will have a bit of a load screen when going into new areas, although it's not bad at all (I downloaded most of the maps/areas on a 1.5 mbps DSL with no trouble at all). :d
