Can anyone tell me best area for finding Leathery Claws. Hydras drop them. For the past 3 days, on 4 different characters, I have killed every Hydra in Dragon's Gullet and in Diessa Lowlands and have not gotten a single claw. Approx 30% bad guys drop gold, 20% items worth less than 30g, the rest drop nothing. Where are the claws?

Try the Fire Islands. I can remember getting some there. just walk out into the first explorable area I think.

it's only the hydra round ascalon that drop the leathery claw...

wiki says 15% drop rate... i know i farmed some to get my monk some low level collectors armour to use as 600 armour...

So I am in the right area, but just no luck in the drops. I would think after a dozen clearings, I would see some claws. Oh well, back to clearing it again.
