Tanking
Terrokian
So many of you say Tanking is bad. What EXACTLY is YOUR definition of tanking? Now save your flames and disparaging remarks, simply define Tanking as YOU understand it.Nothing more nothing less. This does not mean "I saw this guy fail at tanking".It means what are YOUR personal experiences at tanking.Be prepared to defend yourselves.I plan to argue your concept of tanking vs mine.
Pyro maniac
one character, 7-8 slots devoted to pure self-defense. no/really low damage output

Good lord, stop capitalizing all the 'T's in your 'tank.'
I don't think you're going exactly prove very much if your personal definition of tanking differs from those of the majority of Guild Wars players. There's so much you can do when there are people 'tanking' in a sense you wouldn't see fit to call tanking but everyone else does.
I mainly view tankers as those who almost entirely focus on skills with armor/health/regeneration buffs to keep themselves alive on the front line. Much better alternative, in my opinion, are attacking warriors with monk buffs. Getting health buff basically makes it so that the mob will start targeting at your casters and such with lower health. It's basically a useless hump of character standing there dealing no damage and attracting no aggro.
