Hi,

I'm looking for an ele build+ a good farming place to earn quick money,
There are 2 conditions i would like to maintain:
1. I only have factions, so I guess Nightfall, EotN and proph skills are off and only factions places
2. I would like to see a fire build, since I completed the campaign as a fire ele and I have a lot of fire skills(so that I dont need to buy too many new skills @ 1 platinum each (I'm poor, so I need quick money if possible)
I can have mesmer and monk as secondary, you can tell me what's best

PS: im still a noob, played almost always PvE within a party
so plz dont use too many abbreviations

I appreciate your help.

Another possibility is my warrior/monk or my necromancer/monk (did not complete campaign with it, pretty bad armor)

for a really good farming build you need NF and/or prophecies for [stoneflesh] [essence bond] and [balthazars spirit]. and for farming in factions, the big AoE damage comes from earth damage.

maybe something with [obsidian flesh] [armor of earth] [arcane echo] [dragon's sto] [bed of c] [aftershoc][earth attune] and maybe [aura of rest]. not sure if this will work at all though. i don't think it will be enough damage reduction and energy management. i definitely don't think this will work in hard mode either. also i think it will kill stuff if but it may take a while and exhaustion may ruin your Energy pool. this is my best effort with just factions skills. sorry.

for farming with an ele you're going to have to have most of your attribute points in earth magic simply for defense, so it makes sense if you use damage skills from that line also.

EDIT: attributes maybe 12+1+3 earth, 9+1 energy storage, the rest in fire with a sup fire rune
equipment something like droknar's earth staff.

You just should go for Standard Terra Tank.
Can take mutch monsters in HM too...
Though you need to change your attacks etc from place to place...

any good places? Nope, Terra Tank ( Ele ) E/Me , look for it down on the forums, you'll find some more info ^^

Though you need to change your attacks etc from place to place... did you read the OP at all??? he only has FACTIONS skills. terra tank relies on [stoneflesh] and [stone striker] combined with [mantra of ear] to survive huge aggro and for E management. the whole purpose of a terra tank is to gather as much aggro as possible and use it to set off [sliver]. without [stonefl] and [stone st] there is no way he can survive the aggro needed to make [sliver] effective. those are two nightfall skills.

@OP-for farming, you're going to have a hard time using only factions skills if you want to go solo. NF has the best ele farming skills, so if you're looking to farm, it may be a good idea to buy NF. not only that but it was my favorite of the 3 major campaigns, EOTN is fun also.

Factions only sucks to farm, mark my words.
I had factions as first game, and DAMN , couldn't do anything :P
