is there a way to take my proph char to another start area?

Like take her to factions at lvl 14? or nightfal? or EoTn?

or is she stuck in prophecies forever?

if your account has factions and/or nightfall you can travel to them once you reach Lions Arch.
(as well as eye once you reach level 10 you can get there by getting to LA as well).
There is a quest there that will take you to them both.....

if you have lions arch you can get to eotn at lvl 10 and kamadan/kaineng center at lvl 15

I think thats how it works.

If you have Lion's Arch, you can get to Kaineng or Kamadan at any level, provided you can complete the associated quest.

1. buy the other campaign(s)
2. level up your character to the point you can complete the travel quest
3. Pick your quest

I have a question along the vein of where I thought the original topic was going (as per topic name...), can I take my prophecies character to the Factions starter area, i.e. Shing Jea monastery?

take your character to the market place look for the the docks talk to the captain he gives you a small speech about how there's not alot for you to do over there click travel and your on factions newbie island

The problem is not getting there Pamelf....the problem becomes what are you going to do there as the Fly was alluding to. If you PUG with natives to do missions and quests...you will find yourself being left behind and the gate shut to you in some areas....having to go back and run it yourself to enter. Its just not worth the hassle.

Well if you want to do the two misssions in factions on the shing island its worth it to go there. And obviously for matters of progressing your titles if your working on any.
