My character is made from factions and i want to change its second profession, instead of getting to Senjis corner can i ascend in prophecies buy beating the doppleganger and change there?

No, you must ascend in the campaign that you character was created. you can still get the massive xp boost from the doppelganger if you kill it first however.
Nahpui is easier to do than the Desert anyway.

Once you get to Kaineng Center you have the option of going to Prophecies, Nightfall, and EoTN(level 10+). Prophecies you will have to get to the Desert and do all three missions required for Ascension then you can do Augury Rock and earn 50k xp if you haven't already ascended. Nightfall you can complete consulate docks then continue the story line until you do Hunted! and you will be ascended. I pulled up Wiki, this will clarify.

If your in Elona, you can only ascend in Elona. That's the only limitation to ascending. You can cross campaign ascend if you like.

For Prophecies and Factions born characters, the Ascension quests are interchangeable. Your Factions character can do either to qualify for changing secondaries. NF born characters, however, must ascend in NF with Hunted!, which does not count as ascension for other players.
But as said, Naipui is the easy and less complicated of the two.

I have ascended NF chars in Factions at level 3. FINAL ANSWER.
Ferry to Docks, Ferry to KC, Follow someone doing welcome to cantha and follow the quest and mission thread to naipui.
I have made Derv/Sin at level 5, Para/Sin at level 6 and, Ive gone as far as Cavalon with runs and gotten my Luxon Armor for my level 5 NF Necro. xD

I've done almost only Factions or NF characters, and ascended them in Prophecies by doing the 3 missions and then beating the Doppleganger for the extra 50k xp. All of them have been able to change professions after that.
The other bonus to doing them in Prophecies is that, once you ascend, you can do quests to unlock the new secondary, saving 500 gold/profession and gaining 1k xp/new profession in the process!
Beating "Hunted!" in NF is incredibly easy, though, so mainly I did the Augury Rock mission for the huge xp bonus.
