Titles - The Most Tedious One You've Maxed
Vengeful Spirit
any that require money to max, Kurzick/Luxon, Legendary Skill hunter, and cartographer
I myself like vanquishing simply because even if a title wasnt there id be doing it anyway because it is fun and i get decent drops through it

Have not intentionally max out any title yet. I play as I've play before title was out, and by the time title was out, I've already have some max, can't remember how many, its mostly mission+bonus on all Prophecies Characters, cos I must get bonus even back then, I don't know why. but the rest are just a little short here and there, I'll get there eventually, and these titles will be on all characters.
If I must pick one, it has to be cartography because when title came out I already have 95++ on my Prophecies Characters and when I realized I have that high a number I try to complete it, still didn't have it, I guess I will get it when I get it. Not going to fatigue myself over 0.3% anymore.

I doubt the price will drop below 2k though.. so its still going to cost around 40 million. Scarily, some people have max already..

As for me, the most tedious title I've actually completed - Deldrimor. Now, I hate Snowmen so much.

I don't think the rep titles feel too bad if you're doing them at the same time as LMoTN. I found that I had maxed two titles by the end of LMoTN just with bounties and hero handbooks / dungeon guides. After that, it was no more than 2 Varajar runs to max Norn and a couple of HM hero books for Vanguard.
Biggest drag for me was Elonan Vanquisher. Wasn't outrageously hard, but most of the areas - particularly in Kourna and Desolation - have a ridiculous number of enemies in them. Means that areas take longer to do than in other continents - usually considerably past my boredom threshold. I'd rather have more areas with a smaller number of enemies in each personally (like Tyria).

Incorrigible ale-hound by far. I managed to bring it down to a not-so-annoying level by daily WTS sessions in Kamadan and LA. Took me about 6 months of slowly grinding my minutes, but still...
As for Treasure Hunter - it's pretty tedious too. Loading the same instance every few minutes over and over again... Selling unids is not a problem once you find a decent and polite buyer. But the running and zoning and resigning... ARGH! I still have 4500 chests to open. And with the time I can dedicate to GW it's going to take me a bit over 2 months to max it.

With 26 maxed I've done all the easy ones now (non-survivor character).
None was very hard to get and I enjoyed getting most of them.
However, the upcoming ones are the ones I don't like.
Either very expensive or very time consuming. Or both.
The 'PvE' one I most probably never max will be Savior of the Luxons.
It took me a lot of time to get my current 1.2M and it's about 8 times more to fully max the title.
Maybe helping guildies with Canthan vanquish will help some but I don't like HFFF or AB enough to do it over and over for ages.
The others are doable but I don't really want to spend the time required to get the cash or items.
So I just play for fun and progress slowly. It's a game, not a race to maxed titles as fast as possible.

??? L??wLi????????? ???
LDOA, Incorrigible Ale Hound, and Connoisseur of Confectionaries in pre-searing.
Sankt Hallvard
I've actually managed to max one of my titles; Legendary Spearmarshal on my monk. I was worked up over the skill 'Seed of Life' and went the distance to get it maxed. Boy do I feel embarrassed I wasted so many hours of my life doing that. To add insult to injury anet nerfed the skill shortly thereafter.
DonCorleoneCS
I gave up on kurzick just under 5 million faction....WAY too boring.
However out of what I have maxed out it's a tie between Source of Wisdom and Ale Hound.

1. Eat sweets (money)
2. Drink alcohol (money+time)
3. Party like an animal (money)
+4. really time consuming titles, as I do not have Legendary Survivor or LDOA on my main.
My vote would go to treasure hunting and drunkard for the most annoying titles that I will probably never max.
Zaishen is even worse probably, but I do not consider it to be among the titles that cannot realistically be maxed even by addicted gamers.
BTW, regarding drinking:
What if I tell my Keyboard (not a G15, but it has macros) to just drink a beer every minute?
This is what I would do to max that title.
What is actually more shocking, people zoning in and out or clicking on drinks for roughly 7 days (166 hours, 10000 minutes) or ANet adding such titles to the game?
natural_Causes
SS/LB was easy for my (ty to the double point weekend
) The most annoying one I have gotten so far out of my 7 is Tyrian Skill Hunter, just because of all the zoning trying to get the boss to spawn.

MithranArkanere
I'm not maxing the tedious ones until they make them account wide, and the Achievement titles are never tedious.

I was thinking "skill capping" but then I realized I elite tomed almost 1/3 of it because I am a lazy bastard and have the money to spend. Then I was going to say the vanquisher, because I hate vanquishing, but I realized I paid my friends to 600/smite 1/3 of elona. The Leg Master of North doesn't count because my guildies are amazing, and we always did dungeons as a team and stuff.
I guess kurzick will be the crappiest, but I haven't yet finished. :x

Skill capping.
I don't use tomes, dont have anything against people that do, i just found it more intresting seeing all the bosses...
...Innneeeeeet.

I would say legendary vanquisher or legendary guardian. For annoying, cartographer for sure.
Theo Godscythe
All are a pain in the *bleep*
Jumping Is Uselss
All of the eotn titles.
borik oakwood
Titles seem to not go well with me. i want to do Tyrian cartographer but ive already like 90%ted all areas so the rest isnt very obvious and until i vanquish it i can't se me getting that 4.5% although i occasionally see blobs im my dreams and the next day i have 0.01% completed which is useful.
psycik ability? or just sleep Gwing. You the viewer shall decide!

All the titles are tedious imo. Can't count how many times I've fallen asleep trying to max Deldrimor, Norn, Lightbringer and Sunspear titles. Good thing Anet had the double rep weekends otherwise, I'd probably never would've maxed any of them.
Acehigh
So far, I would say Legendary Vanquisher.
Lord High Pwner
Treasure hunter and Lucky where pretty tedious but id say over all it was fun popping the chests.
dread pirate fargus
I would say LDoA... i have it twice... but honestly i am finding ale hound more tedious. been drinking while playing for the last month and i am on 6000 mins.
LDoA however isnt all that bad, working on my 3rd at the moment.

All the titles are really a pain to get. The only ones I'd consider an exception are the protector and guardian titles. Unless you fail them repeatedly. Then it drifts into grind.
The ones I have that annoyed me the most were the Dwarven title, and the Vanquisher ones. I now hate the Secret Lair of the Snowmen.

Ale-hound is moderately annoying. Treasure hunter is about twice as annoying as that. Wisdom and Lucky are even more annoying if you get them through chest running. I don't want to even contemplate Unlucky

Since we are talking about getting titles for the purpose of getting the titles...
To be honest, there are two EotN titles that might give a problem.
Maxing dwarven can almost be done by playing all dungeons NM and after that HM.
This is something you would do anyway to max the EotN title.
Same for vanquishing all the areas which also gives reputation.
So you now have done all the quests NM and HM netting 50K and all dungeons HM and NM netting 100K.
That's almost one full title only from books.
Maxing norn can be annoying but there are plenty of runs from Olafstead nowadays.
That leaves Asuran and Vanguard.
The Stones 'vanquish' nets about 8-10K Asuran and takes about 1 hour with decent team (2 human + 6 heroes).
I have to admit I maxed Asuran during the double weekend but even without it one run/evening with a guildie gives the title in about 1 week when starting at rank 8.
This leaves Vanguard.
I used my books on this one and might have done one more set of quests to finalize Asuran or Norn.
Sure those titles take some time but it's stupid to max Dwarven in the Snowmen dungeon when you want to max the EotN title.

Lightbringer. At least the eotn titles had multiple ways to get them so you could break up the monotony. Lightbringer was just grinding the same things over and over.
How many Alem's Remedy do you have? I have enough to last a lifetime.

Desipite being fun, Gamer is proving to also be realy tediouse as the time frame you've got to work on it is so small.
Its given me a lot more aggro than SB and lb.
"But snowball arena is fun!?" try saying that 400 wins(god knows how many games) later and still being only r3 :P
