If someone buys 8 accounts and puts them in a guild and signs up for 3 automated tournaments a day. Then afks the matches and is given 72 zkeys via points and basically earns 10 million in 1 month while mostly afk assuming zkeys sell for 5k.

To get 8 accounts online at once, that means you would need at least 4 computers. If they were all in one place, than the internet connection would probably lag them all out. If that person wants to buy 8 accounts and go through all the trouble of doing what you propose, than more power to them I say.

This is a theoretical possibility that has been suggested in the farming forum (the shame!), but until we see large numbers of guilds AFKing for z-keys, it's not anything to get worked up about. The number of guilds in the tournaments is still small enough that any such leech guild would immediately stand out and be /reported to oblivion.

I'm pretty sure any regular household computer could play up to 3 GW's on low settings. A gaming computer should be able to handle 6-8 GW clients...
Internet isn't an issue, seeing how GW (when waiting in the outpost) doesn't need more than 10 kb/s... Ok, you won't load fast on all of them, but you definatly won't find internet issues, unless you still have anno 2000 connection...

As for the 8 accounts, thats a little obsessive for a title, i mean i could see some company doing to for selling off gold, but. they would probably make more paying minimum wage to some sollege kids hyped up on mountain dew.

you can copy the gw folder, nn to download more than once, just copy the up to date dat file and overwrite the others if an update shows up

Good idea! (starts buying more GW accounts)... But what do you mean by 72 zkeys out of 8 accounts? That would mean you get 45 tourney points per tourney... but... don't you only get 15 tourney points? (maybe like another 5 for the first round forfeit). That means only 4 zkeys per account and 48 zkeys total.

Surely you don't get that many reward points... I mean, if you don't play in the ATs you get NOTHING. How can you get 72 from just sitting there?
And with the mAT, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't get enough QPs to enter, let alone get a reward out of it if you just afk'd all the ATs.

It may surprise you then that there is in fact at least one guild doing this in numerous recent ATs. I'd state the guild name but the mods will probably edit it out anyway.
So the 'guild' is 1 guy and he loads 6 clients, takes a few heroes, and he just sits there losing. Living off the few reward points that scatter across his 6 accounts. A bit sad really, but he makes a profit.

Surely it would be easier to just get some ppl and use heroes.
Theres plenty of very large pve guilds out there, if people are willing to pay 5k for a key then they probably wouldnt be hard to persuade to get there asses whooped every 30 mins and make some easy keys.

there is a guild already do this. I can't remember the name but every time I meet them in AT, there will be 6 afkers + 2 hereos.
they will always stay at Lord's room do nothing. some players will join game very late ( i think bcos more than 1 GW running on that computer so it may lag, load slower.)

and if you bought a bunch of Factions collector editions for cheap, you could sell off all the Kunas

You AFK, you loose. Surely, you can't get RP for loosing and never wining ... or can you? If you can it sounds like pretty badly though out system.

Ive seen the guild your talking about, i dont really think its worth the trouble for the reward.
They need to put a minimum rank on guilds entering AT's and remove rewards for the lower tiers.

And many have connections rated in MBps.
And there's plenty of people with access to more than 8 accounts, acquired from people who quit or some that have several within a household.
