Any South-eastern Asian players having issues?

I've read this thread: Bad Lag?, but I was wondering if anyone else in Asia has had this issue.

I’m writing on behalf of two friends of mine. One uses a Mac with Bootcamp and the other a PC accessing the net via a router. Both run Windows XP. The Bootcamp one has all the campaigns. The PC one lacks Factions. Both were running Guild Wars fine for months.

Then earlier this month they started to get bad bad lag. A week later, they had connection problems. They'd get stuck on the loading screen. The progress bar would be full, they could hear the soundtrack of new map they were trying to go or load up, and people in game could see their character appear. Sometimes they'd get in, but when they did they'd often get stuck again when porting or leaving the city. Leave it loading and eventually they'd get error 007.

I've read others are playing GW of Bootcamp, so I doubt that's the issue. Moreover, the Mac can run Orange Box smoothly on Bootcamp, so I doubt it's insufficient memory or video card. She can also run another MMO with no issues, so we don’t think it’s port issues. She disabled firewall, antivirus, and, one of the times she got into the game, reduced the graphics to their lowest setting. She updated her drivers and router firmware. No dice.

All this information they sent to GW support, who saw "Mac" and immediately replied:

As of right now, there are no plans for Guild Wars to be released on any platform other than the PC. Also, you would not be able to use the game on your MacBook even if you are running the Windows operating system. However, this does not rule out future expansion to other platforms if there is a strong market interest.
It was a lost cause at that point, trying to explain again that a PC was having issues too. She got another reply.

Officially, there is absolutely no support for any Apple product, no matter what OS it is running nor how long the game client has been stable on it.
The lesson: never mention you're running Bootcamp to support.

As I said, I read the bad Lag thread, and they're going to try it out, though while we wait for the client to reinstall and the dat file to defrag, I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and, aside from the possible solutions in the aforementioned thread, what other things they could try.

Thank you.
