dye salavage got fow with black armor and wanted to go say white but you can't salavage a dye this would oviously just apply to the white/blacks but think about it.

and you can't salvage dye off of armor and weapons, if that is what you are asking.

I hate the idea. Once a dye dries up, you can't salvage it.

ok first off me having fow isnt the point not everyone has it do they? so to them salvaging a black dye of an armor woud be a good thing. and besides you can salvage mods why not dyes who does it hurt, no one. so instead of bashing get a life and then contribue something positive in my thread about it because it is a good idea even if its been mentioned before.

EDIT: Just because it has been mentioned before does not make it a good idea. Many bad ideas get suggested multiple times on the forum

I don't like it. Dye isn't really that expensive, and being able salvaging it would just lower the prices even more. Plus, would it destroy the armor? I think the reuse of dye (which seems impossible in itself) would hurt the dye market extremely. So, although I would just love to save that 220g piece of yellow dye, no.
Off topic, flaming and disagreeing are very different things. I didn't see anyone on this thread who said anything too bad about you/your idea, except that it was an utterly bad one. So lay off will you? Just because they don't agree with you doesn't mean they need a life or are contributing.

I do kinda like the idea because my current non elite armor is dyed black, but, thats cause i am a cheap bastard. But I agree with others that it would be bad for the dye trade. Of course if the dye trade sucked bad enough black dye would be 10g and I could dye everything I own......

On Topic: I see no need to be able to salvage dyes. They aren't that expensive and you can preview all items before using dyes.

How would you salvage a mixed dye? Would that dye still give the same color as the ones you put in de Preview Screen? I don't think this is feasible.
..because dye doesn't enhanche your armor like Runes and Insignia do.

There's no need for it, since most dyes are readily available from drops or other players in town. And, if it's meant to be a gold-saving feature, it would soon become very self-defeating because it would completely tank the dye market.
