What are your system specs - processor, memory, graphics card, OS?
What size is your gw.dat?

No.. that's just part of the mission.. you Blue Screen of Death!
...
Jk. It's most likely a driver issue or a video card issue, because it sounds like your computer is hitting a texture on the loading screen or in the mission that it doesn't like, and it's just causing it to turn on it's back.
As suggested, please post system specs, and when the last time you updated your video card drivers.

try running -image on the game, my .dat file is around 3.6GB and I just did a fresh re-install.
also try the following:
- make sure your video drivers are up-to-date
- same with sound drivers
- defrag your HD
- if latest drivers, try uninstalling and re-installing the drivers (sometimes this can help - uninstall, re-boot into windows standard drivers, re-install & reboot)
- make sure you have all windows updates possible
- try disabling any AV & FW you have before playing, just to ensure they are not causing the problem (if so, contact the av/FW support for assistance.. or change products).
- check the disk for faults/problems.. might ne a new hd, but it might be faulty..
- try re-installing GW again and letting it run -image till it's finished..
