How long till Shadow Form gets nerfed?

Why create this thread..................Anet knew what they were doing if they Nerf this, then what was the point of buffing the skill?

Try ANY A/E build in the UW. You'll quickly find that its impossible or nearly so to take out aatxes due to their regen.
All I meant was that the A/Me with e-management and hex/Cry of Pain and degen can take out almost everything in the UW except for Smite Crawlers, and IIRC Smites have the lowest ecto drop rates of those mobs that can drop ectos.
I did try a couple of builds, from fire nuking to earth sliver in both NM and HM, and the damage per energy ratio is vastly inefficient compared to A/Me, as well as being unable to consistently kill anything except grasps and nightmares.
Plus, if you try autoattacking aatxes, you die. And, if you're running 8+ Crit Strikes, you're taking away from your nuking attribute.

Except that would be bad.
Meantime, i'm getting 3 golds a run and 2 lockpicks despite having hit the raptors 50 times in 2 days, only being interrupted by gvg and a z chestrun.

The whole thing might be a conspiracy to get people to play Assassins in PvE.
Buff a skill to make them the best farmers & runners, and then nerf it back into the ground after everyone makes an Assassin.

I lol so hard at you for this 1 SF is better than 8 in some situations like FoW DoA and UW which is what people team for and in all them SF sins are beaten especially in the burning forest of FoW when they can cast Meter shower on one and damage all.
So 8 man assassin team is a n no.

How're they going to cast Meteor Shower on a character with Shadow Form on them?
The only way an 8 man SF 'Sin team will get f'd in the a on saturday is if theres offensive signets present, like signet interrupts, enchant removal and sources of damage.

It was mention in thew new or old interview with one of the Anet Devs. He explained that PvE will be overpowered now from what he said was that PvEiers were hating that the overpowered builds used in PvE would than get nerfed by PvP somewhere along those lines. PvEiers would get mad that the skills being balance in PvP would effect the skills in PvE allowing the skills lose their effectness. He Stated that PvE will now overpowered and PvP will always be balance because PvPiers want more balance game and PvEiers want a overpowered game.

I heard that they were creating a new skill called "Shadow Ursan Form", to consolidate PvE-leetness into one all powerful skill.
Avatar Exico
that be very funny. high dmg skill like Ursan mix with ShadowForm for God Modeness. Man you would be able kill things in seconds. I still dont think ShadowForm will get nerfed their so many ways to counter. The Counters can be costly and kill the sin.

I don't expect a nerf, ever. A-net had to know what was going to happen when they buffed SF like this; this was a conscious choice.

It could also be that many people hate sins, have never played them, and so a buff like this will affect only a small portion of the overall player-base.
How many people are willing to start a new character in PvE, at this point in the game (minus the brand new players of course), JUST to have a trick farming build, when in many cases, an Elementalist, Monk or even Necro can farm just as effectively?
There's the icedome runners, they'll have an easier time now sure, but I think in the big picture this isn't that big of a deal.

I'm making a lot of money currently running places with my perma SF assassin. Today, I tried to solo the Searing Flames boss in Sacnoth Valley, but signets got through and killed me.

I created mine Friday night, and all you have to do is get to Kaineng so you can be access other continents. Get to level 20 to access hard mode. Do a few quests in Elona and you're R6 Sunspear, so you can get Critical Agility if needed. Do a few Kaineng Quests and finish Nahpui, then you have access to FoW and Underworld. Run from LA to ToA takes less than 20 minutes. Buy Assassin tomes for skills, which are sickeningly cheap. Don't have Shadow Form unlocked? Trap Zaishen for 3k faction (less than 20 minutes), unlock it, and buy an Elite tome for 3k.
I did all this by Sunday afternoon just dabbling around. Wasn't even home most of the day Saturday. The time investment is laughable, and the tomes and runes are cheap as dirt. Compared to what it took to make the original 55 monk, this is a joke.

Anet was fully aware that making it super long duration will make it extremely overpowered. But who cares.
