Yodelway is a variant ursanway. It features use of quickening Zephyr to hit the gas on recharge times of many skills and make them exceptionally strong. Pets are also employed to make use of the now constant Ursan Rages, and the inclusion of Brambles and Signet of Infection adds significantly to the DPS'ing capability of the build.
Additionally, it uses a more unique method of defense, with a persistent wall of static defense from Defensive Anthem, "There's Nothing to Fear!", and "Save yourselves!" powered by a paragon under full-time (basically) "For Great Justice!", as well as powerful passive and spot heals from Chorus of Restoration and Signet of Synergy. Adding to this the ability to quickly remove conditions from players with Finale of Purification, and the constant weakness and knockdowns you gain from the Ursans, Yodelway's defense is both interestingly unique and effective.

Another treat for those of you who prefer a fast and furious playstyle in PvE- I hope you enjoy it.
Cheers.

even for an ursan team i think its gonna need a bit more healing
Konig Des Todes
I can see how this will work, however, it is not needed. Ursan is overpowering enough as it is, no real need to add 10x the damage and defense.
Sir Pandra Pierva
umm ok it works but its useless when you think about it.
ursan is more powerful......oh wait it doesn't need to be.
trying to make an ursan team more powerful isn't going to be more effective when it already decimates everything with no problems at all.

Yes, Ursanway is inherently quick and simple to run, and creating a more organized and restrictive build is contrary to its very nature. However, if you can't say what you want to say constructively and politely, don't say anything at all. Especially for post count +1.

Ursan is used to farm elite dungeons on HM - FoW, UW, DoA, Slavers, etc. In all of those elite HM dungeons, the entire ursan team will be dead in under a minute flat without a set of consumables. So teams collect 2-3 sets of cons before starting a run, i.e., they start every run 12k-18k in the hole.
If there was some way to run ursan without the consets, all those elite runs would be easier to organize and more profitable. Abedeus
Even imbagon is not going to keep a whole team of melee's alive for more than 5 minutes. Nice idea with the ranger, but most of the idiots in ursanways don't know what's synergy. Other then the self-synergy skills (the more of those skills, the better - icy veins on a Soul Barbed target, Searing Flames, Ursan Blessing).

If there was some way to run ursan without the consets, all those elite runs would be easier to organize and more profitable. I have hero/henched most HM dungeons and done FoW, UW & DoA in HM w/o any consumables at all (in fact, I did most of them before consumables even existed). I have done this with and without ursan. Consumables are not needed at all, they just help to speed up the process. IMO, ursan and consumables are really overpowered and should not be used at all unless you're pressed for time. So just to sum up, ursan can be easily run without cons. You just need competent players that can follow direction. But back on track, this build looks okay, but I do think it lacks on healing a bit. Ursans should really run with a 2 monk HB backline to suceed (not saying that this is needed, but it helps alot). Also, ursans really have no need for pets as the damage output they have is very high already. I would personally add in various mantras for extra protection against different types of damage. |
