Advice for Gates of Kryta Bonus

I'm a lvl 16 N/R trying to complete the bonus for the Gates of Kryta mission with henches. I got MURDERED by the phantoms when I pick up the book. I mean, I don't think I even killed a single one of them. Could anybody give me some advice on how to get past these guys?

Well, you're a secondary ranger... just grab a random skill that increases movement speed and outrun the Phantoms. OK, your henchies may not make it, but you only asked about completing the bonus, not bonus + mission!

Well, since my skills that increase movement are all Expertise-related, I only get 3 second boosts which aren't too helpful. What I ended up doing was running like hell, stopping only when casting Parasitic Bond on a few of the Phantoms as they appeared for the big health boost at the end of the hex. I still died twice, but somehow my healer hench managed to stay alive long enough to resurect me both times. It doesn't really feel like I beat the mission, but I'll take the 1k experience none the less. Thanks for the advice.

I managed to get the bonus and found that the trick is to grab the book and then drop it right away. The phantoms appear and come after who ever is carrying the book and hit that person the hardest. If no one is carrying the book, they seem to cause less damage. Start attacking them. Kill them or when they seem busy murdering your henchies, grab the book and run. Keep in mind that you will run into 2 more groups of phantoms. Also there is a short cut/almost hidden path thats easy to miss. Take that to avoid going the "long" way. If you get into a group of people, have a warrior (sprint) or ranger(dodge) bring speed skills. Let them grab the book and run back. I did the mission with hench with my warrior. I grabbed the book and ran. None of the hench made it lol... but I did with ease.

As a /R you have access to good interrupts. Use them to shut down the Wraiths, then let your tank henchies kill them (just make sure to drop the book when the Wraiths first appear).
