Question About Cracked Armor
Sir Tidus
Condition. While suffering from this Condition, you have -20 Armor (minimum 60). Does this mean that a spellcaster with only 60 AL will not be affected by cracked armor? Thanks in advance.
Songbringer
Yes, They will lose no armor however it is still a condition and can be used to cover another condition or make skills work on them that need the cracked armor(i think body blow would be an example).

it does remove the armour from their defensive set though.
so their ability to absorb 16.25% damage is lost.
if im not totally lost
+8 arm from a shield which req not reached (16arm shield)
+5armor from defensive axe/sword/spear mod.
so their ability to absorb 16.25% damage is lost.

It only triggers if that damage is applied, if I'm not mistaking. (the cracked armour, so it wont always do -10 (eventhough it's not noticable.. so maybe it does))

When they are in their defensive set with a shield (8 armor) and the mod which is +10vs XX, they have 18 armor. This brings the caster up to 78 armor. Cracked armor then works to lower that armor to 60 (-18). However, if they are in their casting set (+0 armor) then it reduces them to 60 (by 0).
Essentially, cracked armor reduces their armor by 20, solong as the new total armor is 60 or greater.

Also works on skills. Elementalist in AB using a terra tank build will be affected by the -20 armor since they are using spells to increase their armor.
