ps. i never meet the last guy since i 1st joined this guild ;/
EDIT: i add another guild roaster our alliance... i just found it on my sc... pls take alok.. almost the same.... dont u think? >< (see roaster1)
ps: this screenshot from our alliance was abit old... my pc says 24 February 2008... doh! almost 6ppl over 1yr ><

Your guild is dead.
Last 8 alliances I was in had over 300 people on daily, around 50-60 per guild, every day o.O;.

It depends on how active the members above the 2 days are, if you got like 20 ppl up there then ur guild is still relatively active. If its like 3-4 ppl above there you're guild is dead, and u need to decide if u like the active members enough to stay.

looks like my guild
most of the active players are friends IRL, or friends ive met in game
so I cannot find a reason to leave unfortunately

I used to be in a guild like that like when i 1st started likeunder 3 years ago. Then i realized how to leave the guild and start a knew one with the other active guildies/friends.

There are 4 people other than myself in my guild, 3 of which are never on and the last is rarely on.
Konig Des Todes
Wow, sibelang, your guild is DEAD! 1 year? jeez.
My guild has 5 people in it, 3 active, 2... questionable. Its new and its a "reunion" guild for our old friends. Trying to get others back so it'll stay small for a while heh.

The Red Messenger

Lmao @ 1 year x2 - There should be a reward for that kinda loyalty to an inactive guild... wait, what? =p
cosyfiep
my guild has a member (actually the founder of the guild) that has not been online for a year now---his computer crashed and he has $0 to replace it...so my guild is me and one other....and the founder, and there are many times that the other guildee is not on for a week, the founder a year and me online....normal for it actually.
kobey
That's what the situation is like in my previous guild
As long as there isn't active recruiting, I guess its gonna turn out like that sooner or later.

toon-a-loon
I've been in a guild with 2 members that had not been on for over 2 years O_O

My guild is thriving.
Over 80 people. ~15 people on at any given time. ~65 of them have been on in the last week. The other few are either secondary accounts or people with legit reasons to be gone (military service).

There are plenty of very active guilds. Your guild is dead because your leader is an idiot. Anyone over 1 month should be kicked, and he should get recruiting new members. if I was you I'd leave and you'd find its not like that everywhere.
Why are you letting some false sense of loyalty ruin your playing experience?
The first thing people look at when joining a new guild is how long people have been inactive, seeing something like that would make new members leave very quickly.

I stopped joining guilds after January of this year. I was better off without them in the long run.
My last three guilds, however:
45 members; 7 officers; 3-4 people active; guild leader was not active.
58 members; 3 officers; no one was on after midnight Eastern Standard Time.
12 members; 2 officers; everyone was active.

This is why I'm Guildless.

My guild usually has about 6-8 people online atm, now that a lot of exams are over and some US schools are out. We have a policy that if a member isnt online for 2 weeks without telling anyone why then they get kicked.
Avai
Twilight Angels currently has around 70 members, 40 active daily. Everyone is at least monthly active. Our alliance guilds are around the same size, I believe. I'll take a screenshot when I go home for lunch today.

That kind of things not to happen i allways preferred in guilds that ower 5-7days off = kick and officer 2days off = demote.

An average night of activity in LOD

EndlessDivination
wow molock that bugged roster guild might sell for alot o.0
Avai
Oh, I'm jealous of LOD! Our roster was full, but then we kicked everyone who had been gone for more than 3 weeks. It's smaller but we have a much sexier activity rate this way. :P

I think removing leadership after 2 or 3 days of inactivity seems a bit harsh. Most of us have lives outside of GW, too.
Frequently people will go on business trips or vacations. They post a message on our forum so we are aware of where they are. Then we don't kick.

PS. We kick at 1 week afkness, unless a prior "Leave of Absence" is posted on our site Clicky.

My guild is fairly small, but admittedly over half the members are RL friends. We're also fairly casual, so only a few of us are daily players. I just wish I could figure out how to recruit a few more active players, we're too small for most people, but since people leave or won't join, we stay too small.
Doesn't help that we started an alliance with a guild that went dead shortly afterwards.
I generally won't kick anyone till 3 months of inactivity, but as we grow I'm sure that could change. We also generally promote most people to officers after about a week.

Well, I always wanted to be in a guild and I finally did get in one. Little did I know that I would be the only one on in my guild for most of the time. My own guild.

in GoDT, we had 90~members and all but 3(vacation) were online in last 7 days, 70~daily.
Then guild disbanded 7days ago
*"sabotage" by officers ftl*

Snow Bunny

We roll with 11 officers, and 70 members, and Mini! At any given time, about 6 officers and 20 members are online. Sometimes, like big weekend events such as lockpick drops, we get numbers around 30-50 online. Then I get overwhelmed by Guild chat.

Medium sized guilds with core membership > huge guilds with lots of anonymous people. The problem is in a huge guild with 1000 alliance members is that there'll be 20 or so who are familiar, and the rest are rank-and-file. TAM's got a lot of team play, which is hawt. We do make fun of Lulu and Loki though.
Also - officership in guilds with stable membership is important. I'm an officer in my guild, but I've found our leader's promotion methods to be effective. It's based on maturity, compatibility, experience, and overall coordination. Also, how well you can do late-night be-drunk-and-chat-on-vent-while-playing-sessions is important.
angmar_nite
I don't know how many accounts in SMS are secondaries, but we usually roll with 2-3/8 officers on and 5-10 members at good hours out of 40sh. I never play at peak hours though, and they're all on within the week.
