warrior build for farming IDS?

Anyone know if there's a warrior build for farming icy dragon swords from ice imps in Mineral Springs?

if i remember right all of them have been nerfed

Yeah it has because of the armour stacking nerf unfortunatly.

I used to farm ids long ago - when they were worth more and armor still stacked.

I dug up my old Shield of Regeneration build and got owned on the first run by the imps just recently. Seems I could only take about 3 or 4 at a time.

My next step was to bring a full complement of hero /henchies to fight my way there. Then I flagged all the H/H away except for Tahlkora - I had her bond me. Pretty easy going from there.

Tried it with a buddy (tahl bonded us both Life bond and Life Barrier) - he got an ids.

Not great - drop rate reduced - but with heros no bad spawn problems, and you get to kill everything on the way. Killing fun.

Im sure you could make one..


But you're better off ele or derv.


or a/me works fine now i'm sure.

w/rt ice imp easy, just make sure ur out of range from their spells

[shield of regeneration][mending][balthazar's spirit][sprint][empty][empty][empty][empty]

give this a try... have something similar on my para. still works..

toss in w/e u want in the empty slots. perferrably some damage...

all u need is as much +armor vs elements you can get. mainly cold. and dmg reduction on your armor. the regen should be more than enough to keep you up with that.
