Switching Campaigns - How does this work?
DGalt
I have a level 15 w/e that I want to switch over to nightfall (I'm in prophecies now). How does this work? Will I start at the beginning of NF (I assume) or some other point in the game?

ok if you dont know how to, there is a quest in LA you do, after your done with that it will start you off in kamadon.after that you do like 2 quests and a mission to get onto the mainland.pretty much you dont have to do the missions on the island just the docks mission. but how you wanna do things is up to you. hope that sumed it up for you.

at what point in NF does it start you though? because NF is a stand alone, meaning it has to have a beginning area just like prophecies did (right?). Will I start as a lvl 15 in an area of all lvl 1-2?

Note for foreign characters: Characters created in other campaigns can travel to Elona by completing either Sunspears in Kryta or Sunspears in Cantha. After arriving in Elona, they must complete the following primary quest chain:
Battle Preparations → Securing Champion's Dawn → A Land of Heroes → The Time is Nigh
After that they will join the normal storyline at the fourth mission, Consulate Docks.

so you'l do like 4 quests aproixemately youre level and then its on to lvl 20 content

Essentially, it's like this:
Any character from any campaign can play the other campaigns. They arrive at the other campaign as they are (same level, ... - it's just like map travelling). They do not arrive at the exact beginning, though, they arrive a bit later. They can continue the storyline in the normal way from that point on, but can only do the previous missions as a "reenactment", gaining no reward. Also, they miss out on the quests that are from that period.
However, the missed parts are very minor. The vast majority of the campaign remains.

Also, to add to the above, once you have done the quest to get you from L.A. to Kamadan, you can simply travel back and forth between Prophecies and Nightfall by using the "boat" to travel to LA or Kamadan (and/or Kaineng Center if you have Factions). Your character does not change while traveling.
You can also freely travel between America, Europe, Asia and International districts.

I think another point has to be cleared up as well. Nightfall does not have a seperate "noob" area that is inaccessible to higher-level characters the way Prophesies has. The noob area is the entire island that you will initially land on, so you will undoubtedly see a lot of level 1's, 2's, 5's, etc., as well as many many level 20's. There is no pre-searing type place where you cannot return after a certain point, so don't worry that you will suddenly be stuck in a place full of only low level characters. I hope that clears things up a bit.
