I only see one problem and thats Vista. Vista is resource hungry and is a POS of an operating system. However if it comes with the package and you have no other choice , I guess vista will be ok for the time being. If you got the cash go out and buy XP. To each their own though.

I would go with an Nvidia card, but that's just because i like Nvidia more.
Also i wouldn't recommend Vista, but overall, very nice RIG

Meh, again with the Vista hate.

It's a top notch system, it has plenty of memory and it has a 64bit OS to run it.

It will run like a dream.

That computer has enough resources to eat Vista, I don't think they're going to notice it being resource hungry.

A lot of the alleged resource-hungriness comes from the Aero interface. It's optional. If you run XP and, for example, WindowBlinds, you'd turn it off if it became too resource-hungry. If you don't like Aero's demands, don't use it.

Exactly, Vista means you get about 5 FPS less on most games, and thats with Areo on.

People are parrots when it comes to vista. It's bad. rawrk. It's bad. Polloy wants to use DX10.

The thing is vista has come a long ways since it launched. I love vista and have no issues with it. As someone else posted,"What's your beef with vista?" After your beef, you must have had a slice of noob cake for dessert."

Other than the quad Intel, looks good. 45nm dual cores > quad core unless you are really going to use the quad, which I doubt you are.

The ATi card may be a bit weak compared to some of our (nvidia's, I really need to stop saying our, it confuses people, this was a random thought brought to you by vicodin/tramadol withdrawal...lame) high end offerings. But looks like a great system.
