Weapon Sets...

For about the past eight months, I've only really played monk. I made an elementalist about..a week ago, and I've been wondering what weapon would be the best for me to run with. Right now I'm using a 40% HCT 20% HSR +30 staff, but would I be better off using a 40/40 set? I'm really in the dark here.

So, what weapon set is best for a PvE elementalist.

Generally, the20/20 wand and 20/20 offhand is by far the best set - the 40/40 set, yeah.
Nothing else can pump out quite so many spells.

yea 40/40 set is the best...I got the drok's fire scepter/focus and it works great

for backup tho incase I spam too much and run low on energy, I have cyndr's heart for +15/-1 and +30 hp if needed. 40/40 is your best choice tho

40/40 set for general usage, +20% enchantment staff for casting attunements or other enchantments, 30/-2 as a back-up set if you're running mind blast and you screw up.

If you're feeling like going super-duper you can always make a defensive set, in the case you start getting pounded.
