AFC killing the game

Anyone feels too that the "removed" AFC code degrades the GW to an avarage RPG level?

I simply lost all my income source. I prefer H/H PvE and im doing various solo farm to earn money for my need.
Every new spot i discovered lately dries out after a few run.
In the beginning i got very good drops, many white, blue, some purple and a few gold. Tomes too sometimes.
But AFC applies and everithing goes away
It is pathetic ... maybe i start to play again on a cracked L2 server like before GW.

If only there were something else to do ingame than farm!

Farming was fun a very long time ago, when it was possible for a 55 to make 10k in 10 minutes. Now, about the best you can do is 4 account Kurzick HFFF at 19k ish/hour. My, how the times have changed...

A-net took out the anti farm code and just decided to make farming crap instead =D.

Well every one is complaining these days it seems most people are so fixed on cash.

i have grown tired of all this cash accumulation and the QQ about that people never have enough.

The code is gone, or might be, we have Loot scaling now so you cant really mesure anything...

That said nothing good drops in the first place anymore so who knows

just farm things that aren't effected by loot scaling....like ecto

* Dye
* Rare materials, such as Ectoplasm
* Gemstones from the Domain of Anguish
* All other rare (gold) items
* All unique (green) items
* Special event items

Exactly. I don't see why people complain so much about cash. In fact, GW is a game in which you probably are probably LEAST stressed about cash. You can get perfect equipment just by playing the game, and nothing else. I used to farm, I got my pretty stuff, and now I see that it was a lot of boredom for nothing. If you need something to do, work on titles or do HM.

Jimmy it's the e-peen. More people care about having hot awesome stuff than stuff that works. Whether it be armor, weapons, titles, mini's, etc.

and you bloody well need to farm for some of those titles add in loot scaling then make a title that takes millions to max now that was a great move

For most titles, you're buying stuff from other players. Since antifarm affects all players about equally, it doesn't make that big a difference.

You idiot. There is no AFC anymore. ANet denied its existence, claiming there was just an "Anti bot code" (same thing under a different name methinks), and then admitted it had been removed when they added Loot Scaling. LS made it un-needed.

How do I know there is no AFC? I farmed the same run for 3 days straight, and made between 2-10 ecto every run. For 3 days straight. I still get ~2.5k per run, and I still get 2-10 ecto.

And everytime Anet add something to slow farming, people find a way to make cash. If you hate it so much, do FoW clears...that's a nice source of income if you get lucky, or even if you don't.

You don't have to solo farm to make cash..

I only want money for

Five 15k armor (achived none)
all destroyer items (achived only 3)
Skill Titles (about 200k to finish it)

After that probably sink it all on lockpicks.

I don't care about "awesomess" I care about power.

That's why I have Tormented Shield tactics, but guess what is borrowed.

Stop whining about "eye candy is hard to get" because if it's HIGH END it's not MEANT TO BE EYE CANDY.

Elemental Sword was ugly before and it's ugly now that's really OVERFARMED.


C'mon just play the game , it's easy enough with Ursan and Permashadowform.

Guild Wars is a terrible choice of game if your aim is to farm for a vanity goal.

Erhm, it says it is removed... as various Anet officials stated. And to be honest and haven't seen any soundproof evidence that would support the existence a AFC, only bad luck. Loot scaling is the replacement, and you know what? I only know people who got much richer after the lootscaling then before ... odd isn't it? eg. 1000 ways to earn money in this game ... pick one.

And after you have played the story through, what else is there but those vanity goals?

Before ANet had a brainfart and decided to wreck the economy and everyone's fun at the same time, GW was a lot of fun, now fun is meagre and dwindling.

19k an hour is far from the best you can get from farming...
Besides being mind-numbingly boring, HFFF isn't really all that profitable. UW farming is far more profitable than that... I can clear Chaos Planes in an average of 35minutes, 40 if there is a bad spawn... Assuming around 5 ectos per run, that's 41k/hour

Before Nightfall I could make 100k an hour.
