Obsidian Armor

Hi, I was duo farming yesterday, then for no reason the guy I was with dropped all his obsidian warrior armor then left. I salvaged all the runes that were on it, so now I'm left with some obsidian which I might get an ecto or shard out of, or maybe more than one.

I've never seen here on Guru anyone selling or buying or price checking armor, so I have no idea.

I don't want to salvage myself, because I might not get any good materials from it.

So, considering that people could salvage those out of it, how much should I sell the pieces for? I already guessed that because the chest and leg pieces of any armor need more materials I'd charge more. But how much?

To tell the truth.. Id S/B it at 1K and see what happens. Its much liek an unopened bday present. You can get any range of materials form it, not only ecotos....

However.. Id really PM the guy who dropped it first asking if he was really sure he did not want his armor back first.

Agreed with Rushin Roulette. Contact the guy first.

Doesn't look like something a player would normally do, so the player might have been a hacker who wanted to be funny.... you never know.
pm the player and ask if it was him, if he wants it back etc.

I saw Obsidian Armor being sold once about 4 months ago here on guru, but can't remember the seller's name.

If he doesn't want it back put it on sale with S/B 1k. I wouldnt try to sell it ingame. You would probably get reported quite often.

Agreed with everything above, by all means make sure this guy didn't get hacked and screwed over. You know, the whole pay it forward thing

Of course, if he really was hacked, there's no surefire way to know that you'd be talking to the actual guy next time you see him on. If you feel certain he doesn't want his armor, s/b it 1k and see what happens.

Prof sold the pieces for 100k+5e ingame btw. or 100k cant really remember

Prices might also be dependant on whether the obsidian armor owner is famous

could have been a rage quitter....or just felt that it was the right time to "give up". When I first quit, I took random PUGS to the environ and dropped all that I owned, but of course I told them what I was doing first....maybe he was breaking you off some

I would guess this wasn't intentional aka a lil brother being an asshole or a friend with access to the account trying to mess it up. I would contact the guy if your feelingl ike a nice person or sell/salvage straight out. A hacker wouldn't do that at least any involved with RMT.

Yeah, I contacted the guy and he said that he wanted it back and it was just, so I gave it back, and the money I got from selling the runes on it.
