How do I change a thread's title?

How do I change a thread's title? I tried going to advance go and editing it there, but when surfing the forums it still displayed its old title. : [

Looks like you can't (I just tried).

Ask a mod, if it's really necessary.

I thought all thread title changes had to be approved by mods anyway. I don't know if changing it with Edit submits a request to them or not.

But you're better off just pm a mod, as Snograt said.

If you have a thread title that needs editing, please PM a mod of that forum/section. Moderators, Super Mods & Admins, are the only ones who can change the title of a thread.

When you change the title, all you will change is your post's title - not the threads.
