Yah kinda a stupid question if you ask me. If this game was no fun why would anyone play it? Other people have different likes and dislikes so some people might like farming and maxing titles.
Zahr Dalsk
Used to play for fun, then played to hang out with other people there, then played for no reason trying to find a way to have fun in Gw again. Then left.
StormDragonZ
I play for fun, but I also play to meet specific "requirements" I believe will put me at a state of saying that I've reached a point where I can accept all I've done as being good enough.
My plan is to have all five of my characters:
-Beat Prophecies with Protector title.
-Beat Factions with Protector title.
-Beat Nightfall with Protector title.
-At least one 100% Cartography title.
-Legendary Skill Hunter title.
-Beat EotN with at least 10 of the 18 dungeons completed.
-Sunspear & Lightbringer Max Title.
That's 10 max titles per character. I also cover the two main bases: Some form of grinding and actual completion of the game.

I play for fun, ive gotten hacked so many times i dont give 2 shits about doing anything in pve anymore [already beat all campaigns] and i dont even have a guild at the moment, so i only play when im really bored, or some friends hit me up to play
Lord Sojar
Only reason I play anymore.
Chrono Re delle Ere
Only reason I play sometimes right now is for the fun of it. Uusually I will play during the week-end when guildies are organizing things, or I will just log on at random times when I have nothing to do and check out what my friends are doing. If they are gonna start something, I will join up, if not I will log off.
Nothing that appealing anymore in GW, too bad. 3 years of fun, and this was my first true MMO. Was funny^^

I haven't completed nearly enough in order to start going around title grubbing. I still play for fun.
Dr Strangelove
My only maxed titles are the guardian track, I have around 40k on my account, /rank flashes a bambi, I've never been in top 100 GvG, and I have over 3000 hours played. Yeah, I'd say I'm here for the fun.

Not quite sure what anti-farming and boting have to do with a person playing for fun but, some do find farming and title maxing fun.
Oh, and yes I only play for fun, it is just a game after all and isn't that why we play games?
Lady Lozza
I play the game to have fun. So I don't do anything I consider to be "not fun" which would be farming, mostly. Mind you I normally give everything a try once.
Evaine
I play this game for fun. When it stops being fun, then it’s time to move on to either something new or back to an old favorite.
My Necromancer is getting to the point where I need to decide if I want to title grind or work with my other characters. I’ve just starting grinding to raise his rank in a couple of title tracks. So far, it’s been OK. Sometimes it’s fun and sometimes it’s not. When it’s not fun, I have several other characters to select from. I like to see how various professions handle different game scenarios.

I still play for fun! I'll occasionally waltz into RA and play like I'm a drunk moron, and read the disgruntled rants that I get from people. Of course there are other things that are fun... I just like taking advantage of volatile teenage hormones. Entertainment at it's finest.
Dallcingi
I just do pvp like RA AB HA GvG for fun and with a friend when I am bored. Not much to do but relax on GW.
Jade
Absolutely. Once I finished all 3 chapters and gwen on my necro, I got real bored. So, I started to play one of my Wa's and decided, "hey, he needs some new armor." Played him for a while then switched to another character then another. I found I have far more fun playing multiple characters instead of concentrating solely on one. 99% of the time when I play my necro it's just cuz I need an ego boost. You know, getting my ass handed to me by some critters on my rit, then I'll go play my necro and have him go kick the crap outta the same group of critters that killed my rit. Revenge!

in the end... i play GW for fun and challenge. Taking 8 man team from TOA to vanquish Ascalon area was boring... so we decided to actually do it as a challenge and run 4 man team instead. titles??? what are those? i have wasted soo much time doing hero battles, AB, PVP that when people look at my HoM and ask me where it all is i just say... "sorry, i waste too much time playing PVP."

I play for the fun of it when other people are playing. Otherwise, I just go afk and leave the game on.
Pleikki
mm Only reason i play is Have fun with my ingame mates.
ThunderStruck
I play to have fun, luckily, I have fun maxing titles as I often do it with guildies!

Squishy ftw
As soon as something stops being fun in gw, I do something else.
A game is supposed to entertain me, when it stops doing that, I'll find something else to keep me entertained.

Usually I play for fun, do some random stuff, play thru campaigns or max titles. Also, sometimes I dedicate weekends for farming, as this next weekend might be just the one as I don't get to HA. But usually I get bored of doing missions pretty fast, after that I'll check is there something fun title to max for my main, and if I feel like I start getting it. However, I get pretty fast fed up with that too. Somehow I keep on finding more fun from GW, even if one could think I've done everything I can in there. If I REALLY feel like bored/don't enjoy playing, I go play other game or do some creative stuff.

I actually don't understand this question at all, my apology, but doesn't everyone "play for fun" if something isn't fun would you play it at all?

Edgar The Crosseyed
I stopped playing for titles about a month ago and it is a relief
I do trade a lot still cause i like to power trade and make money. But for me THAT is fun too.
I constantly delete characters and make new ones its hilarious
just keep 1 main toon and put all money in him for HoM, and play all the others for fun and you get a full HoM and loads of fun back

I play now purely for the fun of it, i dont do titles... period
The highest i got was on my E/A was rank 10 Sunspear / Lightbringer, and that was only because i used to solo the Graven monoliths.

I play for fun 80% of the time. The other time i find it nec. to grind, in which i dont really feel its for fun. I am more into worrying about how much time ill really have wasted if i dont finish whatever i got myself into.
Proff
No, gw is srs bsns.
Jetdoc
I only play for fun, and to me challenge is fun.
I've accumulated enough money through my playstyle (i.e. soloing without heroes and henchmen wherever possible) that there really isn't any point to grinding.
Titles have never really appealed to me, so I normally get some of the PvE-skill related titles to some decent level just by playing the game and then stop there.

That's why I haven't played in awhile.

I still play because of the time I'v dedicated to the game and my main character. But I don't have much fun anymore. I need to find that state of mind where I can forget about all the bs surrounding the game and just enjoy it.
I am working on trying free trials right now, I played eq2 free trial, didnt like the game at all. Now I am on LotrO and its kinda fun but the game has some issues like not being able to track xp progress, lack of a destination indicator and slow combat. Next will be DDO then WoW. After I have tried all the free trials I think I will be ready to come back to GW somewhat refreshed.
I must say this though. Guildwars so far is a lot better IMO than eq2 or lotro. Maybe its because I'v been away from the game for awhile, or maybe its because I'm seeing what these other mmo games have to offer that I am beginning to respect and admire gw even more.
This break was a very good thing for me and I believe it will help me get back into gw full force. I am really looking forward to finishing gwen, grinding out some titles and building my monk.
I only wish the community was nicer and the companies support was more helpful. But I need to forget about that and concentrate on the things that matter most. My gaming experience, my fun factor, my rewards.
I am also looking forward to finally getting into pvp with my warrior, but I will need to learn the builds and tactics from those who know pvp, because I am a pve player.
So basicaly, When I return, I will be playing for fun, not for gold, or drops or fame, just for fun. I might even play with people again for awhile.

I play because I find the game boring.
