It became more shiny/reflections on it. Mabye even brighter in the color, so yeah i would say it is different.

Only the Hilt changes. The Blade Does NOT change color, just like with the FDS. (Obvious from their names, Fiery and Icy)

the balde doesnt change colour, the actual hilt of it goes white
