Hello there.
Recently my wireless connection has been failing on startup, it tells me it can't connect to a network. However if i repair it a second later it will instantly find my network and connect. The problem with this is every time i boot up i have to manually repair my internet.
I was wondering if there was a reason for windows to be failing to auto connect, and if there was a way to fix it.
Thanks a lot!

Check to see if Wireless SSID Broadcast is enabled for your router, if it isn't try to enable it.

- Have you tried deleting and re-creating the wireless profile?
- Tried doing a winsock reset (and int ip reset if vista) and then restarting your comp?
- Tried changing the channel that the wireless is on?
- Are you using windows centrino? Or does your wireless adaptor have it's own software which your using?
- If own software, have you tried using windows centrino?
- if centrino and have own software, have you tried using the provided software?
- Have you tried manually configuring the wireless connection with an ip, subnet mask, gateway & dns settings?

Forgot to mention when you created the profile, check the box for it to auto connect for the wireless connection.
For Vista, check "Save this network", and check "Start this connection automatically" when you recreate the wireless connection.
For XP theres a similar option to automatically connect to the wireless network, and be sure your network is the preferred network if theres more than one being detected.
