although its nothing bad, for some reason i have some minor graphics glitches with my 8800gtx 768mb...for exemple, sometimes i will see some white lines...or during this cinematic http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRVt23HhzXg
i wont see the fire, and wont see the purple stuff on the portal and the ground is all fked up. When i got my computer and first got in eye of the north and had that cinematic, i had the same video effects than on the video but now its all glitchy. So im just wondering what it could be..since my drivers are up to date or is it just a bug from the game.
Edit: Nvidia monitor says my gpu is at 58 Celsius and my cpu onlu uses 3% while running Gw and i tunes + Firefox of course
little graphic problem

Try rolling back the drivers to older ones?
Try removing the card, dusting out the PCI-E BUS and re-seating it?
The card could just be borked, but It's jumping the gun saying that yet. There's a few things to do before you decide if your card turned out to be a dud.
EDIT: Oh yeah, more importantly - is Guild Wars the only game bugs are happening in?

Might want to try drivers older than 175.xx for NVidia. Not sure about 8800gtx but my 8600gts lost about 20-30 fps with the newest drivers. As well as lots of graphics glitches, and crashes and NVidia control panel being very unstable. After trying to reinstall 175 twice, I finally reverted back to 169 and no more graphics problems.

yeah it only bugs with guildwars...and i don't have fps problems, even with mega internet lags it stays at 60 with v-sync.

Ok, then have you tried deleting the Guild Wars .Dat file? It could be corrupted, that's really what it sounds like to me.
If you haven't, then please do, that might be the problem.
Check and see what size the .dat file is too, it may be bloated as well.
