@ Time to Smash. Wait for the new nVidia cards to launch on June 18th (like less than 3 weeks away) You won't be disappointed.
Oh, and you cannot do dual monitors in SLi bud, sorry. You can turn off SLi and do it, but it will not function when SLi is enabled. You might look into upgrading the motherboard as well, to the 780i chipset. The 750i is decent, but the 780i mops the floor with the 750i.

Will do thanks for the advice, Shame dual monitor doesn't work in SLI

No problem. So your budget is 800 I assume? If that is the case, try my parts list below:
Motherboard:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813188024
Pricey, but a great setup. This was one of my first projects with nVidia, so I consider it my 1st born.
Memory:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820146565
Corsair sucks for memory. Don't buy their crap, ever. They use all types of fabs on their DIMMs. They are like an albino inbred mut dog in the RAM world. Crucial is a purest company, using Micro based fabs, which are widely considered the best.
Case:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811133037
I don't trust the quality of NZXT cases, and midtowers are typically tiny (there are some exceptions) Thermaltake Armor is gorgeous, but it your personal preference.
I narrowed it down to Thermaltake Full towers for you. Head to this link:

Power supply:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817153038
Graphics Card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130339
not too pricey, great performance. But... I would recommend waiting on the GTX 260 and 280.
My setup pushes your limit quite a bit, I apologize, but the stuff I recommend is top notch, so in my honest opinion, worth the extra.
Grand Total: $956.68

I assume the dual monitor confusion was what prompted The Way Out to reply in his own, inimitable style.
Shame, Way Out - shame!
Shame, Way Out - shame!

No, that's just how you guys spell it.
Armor is fine, it is correct as well. Especially since the case is labeled ''Armor'' as well.
Same with Colour.. pet peeve.. really bothers me, but oh well.

i'm wondering tho, why cant you have SLI and dual monitors? Nvidia should make me able to do it!
Brianna
I didn't know either, then Rahja explained.
It is because in SLI, one card renders the top half of the screen, and the bottom card renders the bottom half. So you'd end up with half a screen on each monitor. He can probably give more info on that one though than I can. But by the sounds of it, it is technically not really possible to run dual monitors with SLI just because how it works and how it is designed, but I don't know much about any solutions to it either.

that pretty intresting, but why not that 1 card does 1 monitor and the other card the 2nd monitor?
shouldn't be hard to write software of whatever for that.

Brianna
It would be nice, but that is defeating the purpose of SLI in theory.
It's supposed to render one screen in separate halves to take load off of each card respectively, and improve performance and such.

Why_Me
Most SLI is alternate frame rendering, not split frame rendering.
Brianna
Like I said, I only know what I was told, and what I actually understood from it.
If you care to explain in further depth, feel free.

Actually, my mate's new Armour tower is correctly labelled in English with the 'U'!

Considering that on the box it says ''Armor, then there is no ''Right'' way, they spell it Armor in America, and over there they spell it ''Armour''. It all means the exact same thing.
There is no difference really, so this discussion is moot.

also EVGA is going to be dropping the prices on the 8800 and 9800 cards in the next week so you my want to hold off till then. for what your paying for the 8800 you may be able to get 9800' for close to the same price.
