Hello ; I came up with an idea together with my brother to combine healer's convenant and healer's boon .

_________________________________

Little intro

[healer's boon] & [Healer's Covenant]

The build combines the strenghts of both elite skills : [Healer's Covenant] : Reduces healing power ; but increases spamming of heal skills . [healer's boon] : Improves healing power ; but increases spamming [ and harder e-manegement . ]
_________________________________

The dual builds are & various options to replace skills :

1st monk ;

[Healer's Covenant][Dwayna's Kiss][Ethereal Light][Patient spirit][Healing seed][Holy Veil][Seed of Life][Arcane Mimicry]

2nd monk ;

[Healer's boon][Dwayna's Kiss][Ethereal Light][Healing Seed][Dismiss Condition][Seed of Life][Glyph of Lesser Energy][Heal Party]

Ofcourse there are many discussions of which skills to use in a Hb build but this is my personal preference ;
if you feel like using something your free to do so ofcourse it wont change the effectiveness of the build .

_________________________________

Use of the build :

FIRST monk : Like most pure healing builds the use of it is pretty straightforward.
You enter the area and as soon you see the group your going to face steal Healer's boon from the 2nd monk ; cast healers boon on the recharge [ you have time for one recharge ]
put on hc & hb and go spam your heal skills with ; -3 energy ; 50%faster cast ; 25%more heal .

SECOND monk : Again , it's just the regular hb monk build use it ; Go GoLE + heal party when under big pressure ;
use skills when around a certain % of life to heal someone and do what you must to .

_________________________________

Equipment :

For 1st and 2nd monk :Full survivor Rune of Sup vigor Minor Heal Prayers rune Minor Divine Favor rune 2attunement runes
40/40 ;
use +20% when casting hb

_________________________________

Varia :

I choose to keep the second monk Mo/E ;
because one of the big positive points of the regular hb monk is that it can heal when under majore pressure with heal party.

It's just a test idea but it works nice [in my opinion]

You will be 10 second without hb

Counters :

Playing with ursan scrubs ;
& The big problem of these builds is ench removal ; try checking Wiki for area's with big ench removal ; or try to anticipate it and stay out of range and so on =)

If the area is ench removal heavy ; be advised to run other build then

& no I don't want this to be called phanway or something ..
[have had 2pm's about : Wow an other fagg that wants a build named after him ]

Idea's are welcome ; since this is my first & small guide tips are more than welcome ; adjustments to the build ? other types of idea's keep them coming & sry i posted this thread before finishing had some troubles with the skill icons and forgot about tabs .

So, HB would only cause 25% more healing. If you used spells like [heal other] and [jamei's gaze], it might work. You are talking about using [arcane mimicry] to get [Healers Covenant], right?

so u are gonna destroy 1 monk to make the other stronger? if what u are saying is that 1 monk ench himself and the other monk with [Healer's Covenant]. I do believe that 2 monks with +4 energy regen will be better, as they will have better energy management.
If you mean using [Arcane Mimicry] it could work, but u are forcing the monk to be mo/me when it might need to be a different second

you mean 2 Healing Monks each with [skill]arcane mimicry[/skill]?
if so than the main problem would be the lack of prots... but I guess it should work, especially for Ursan groups or whatever...

It might just be that it's 1am over here but your post seems incredibly ambiguous to me. Are you suggesting that one monk runs HC and the other run's HB, or one runs both by using Arcane Mimicry?

Either way, HC is a pretty poor elite choice for PvE, so I suppose you need to do some justifying on it's behalf.

On the first monk, why not use more expensive skills, since you get some of the cost taken off by HC?

this could work quite well if you take 2 standard hb builds, replace 1 with hc and both take arcane.

the moment you have more then 5 casts, you have better emanage then glyph (which i think is the goal of the this build). also seeds are unaffected by hb/hc except for cast time and e cost, which are key to ursan groups.

I ran a build similar to this on an Ursan run awhile ago through Slavers and it wasn't really worth it, you only gained a few points in healing, and you lose heal party, you need to time casting HB so that it will last until Mimicry is recharged, etc.

If you want a super spammer go with an ER healspammer.

I would use patient spirit instead of etheral light and I feel better with res chant on if doing an ursan and someone get out of agro.

so you posted the builds, but as i said before a GoLE monk with HB having its +4 energy regen will be more energy efficient

@OP, so why didn't you include arcane mimicry in both monk builds? If anything it would be easier for the HB monk to grab HC (which is a maintained enchat), and utilize both.

The biggest problem with HB/HC is that they are enchants; every time I go with an ursan group anywhere we always hit heavy enchant stripping areas. Personally, I don't like either; I rather bring: WoH, infuse, a couple of prots, hex removals, and live dangerously. Keeps me awake when monking in PvE.

*I'm sure your build is rather effective for Ursan groups.

There should be some kind of rule against people posting builds used with ursan. Face it, any monk in an ursan group has more then enough healing with [orison of healing] and 7 empty skill slots.

; If you guys should accualy read it all it would give an answer to you comments .

why not double arcane ; because hb + GoLe + heal party is nice vs big AoE dm etc ,

I said as counters this is impossible to use vs heavy ench removal ; and still ppl say .. lolz nub this sucks vs ench removal .

just read the text ; try it out ; and then comment pls =)

if you still all think it sucks then i'll just pm a mod and ask to delete it .

Uh, phan, when presenting a build for discussion and use, they should nominally be as competitive as accepted standards. These builds have no prot, and their healing ability is wasted because of that. Also, only one of the two has condition removal, and neither have hex removal.

As it is, as The Meth stated, you really shouldn't be posting builds on the assumption everyone runs Ursan. If you're going to make that assumption, put it in your post. Otherwise, we're going to think you're an idiot for posting a bad build while defending it.

I don't really care if they take that for ursan or for fighting level 5 monsters ;

& one of them has cond. removal and the other one has hex removal .
i didn't really think about including more of those things because i usually use a support paragon . with hexbreaker aria and song of puri .

And why do i defend this build ? because i know it can be better than running normal dual hb monks , it just takes a tiny bit more brain to play this .
