HM Ritualist Builds
sean520
hello, i just started farming titles and stuff on my rit. But, i need to know some good HM and VQing builds. i know the normal weapons builds, but is that really that good in HM? does anyone have any good builds that will be fun, and good to run in HM with either friends, or heros?
thanks, any help is appreciated.

I've been running this pretty much exclusively lately:
[Akhmet Ammit;OAej4xhjIT2k7ixkLQeTYMdiXMA]
I am rank 5 in Norn and 3 in Vanguard - so no need for some high faction farming.
Combine it with Sabway.

Try and use this build:
[build prof=Rt/A name="Healing Offering" rest=12+1+2 chan=9+1 spaw=9][Spirit Light][Mend Body and Soul][Spirit Transfer][Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support][Offering of Spirit][Life][Recuperation][Flesh of My Flesh][/build]
Its not so Fun, because you heal like a monk... but its a good build for vanquishing and HM Mission, with players or H&H, im using this build some 8 months and works perfectly

Some of the better builds I run.

Dr Strangelove
[ancestors' rage][great dwarf weapon][asuran scan][strength of honor][smite hex][smite condition][offering of spirit][bloodsong]
For heroes I run a barbs/MoP necro, an EDA scythe dervish, and a crit scythe sin. My melee make really, really big numbers.

Nope, it affects all attacks from anything from party members to pets to minions. At high levels with lots of physicals it's pretty much a "die now plz" button.

Minion Attacks? Does anyone know if "your" attacks count for minions/spirits/pets? Probably not, but does anyone know for sure? ....(It) work anymore either with assassin support, asura summon or minion. so it's only our own weapons attacks. Dr Strangelove

http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Talk:Asuran_Scan EDIT: Actually, you're right. It appears to have changed since I last used it. To be honest, I haven't PvEd much in the last 3 months or so, apparently it died somewhere back there . Oh well, the build is still basically the same. Swap out asuran scan for [finish him] and it's almost the same. FoxBat

I believe this update fixed the bug that made this skill work with allies, as my level 19 Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support is doing less damage than my level 14 one did, while using this skill. --Macros 23:00, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
My goren isn't seeing any damage increase on master of damage

I've been using this Splinter Barrage build a lot recently. It hits like a truck compared to most because the damage doesn't come from only Splinter Weapon. Regular hits will still strike for 55-80 damage against most targets. And the ward is fantastic when combined with other ranged attackers/damage-over-time nukers.
[build=OAKjkxhjITLGYMPGWizkyl5iXMA] Body shot requires Cracked Armor to work but i always have a hero with [weaken armor] to provide the condition (note that it now applies to adjacent foes aswell, not just the target). Cracked Armor also further helps your nukers if you have them. You do need reasonably high ranks in the EotN rep titles but anything from r6+ will be fine and do lots of damage. sean520
thanks guys!
what build should i use when VQing or HM missions as a rit. is spirit spammer good for some times? if so, can someone leave some good builds? thanks guys bump. i tryed some HM cantha missions, but when i get to the hard parts, its too hard. i need some better HM builds. thanks guys Posts Merged by Celestial Beaver: Please use the button in future Improvavel
That might be because of the rest of your party rather than your own build.
Those builds seem pretty solid. Combining bits of sab's way (the MM and the SS, I would say, others swer on the MM and N/RT) with physical damage dealers should let you trample factions. andre14
hei im also a rit in cantha and im tryin to farm in hard mode currently i havent vanquish a single area because my build isnt to good. i tried to use channeling but it still doesnt work.
maybe we can farm together in hard mode in cantha and it'd be nice to see more rit/n builds, cuz im a rit/n distilledwill
I'd think that [[Great Dwarf Weapon] would be a must-have skill on any PvE Rit by now! I mean, +damage and knockdown. Yesh, Thankyou Pleash.

hey guys, ive been working on some builds, and i found some that are cool. i am just a hybrid with Ancestors Rage, Splinter Weapon, Great Dwarf Weapon, OoS, then some heals. for my heros, i have a Wounding Strike dervish ( could be switched out for a scythe weilding sin), Curser ( Barbs + MoP), then either a monk, or a MM. depending on what area im doing, if my friends with me, then we will have 1 MM.
anyone have any other ideas? Gaia_Hunter
I think either a bha/volley+epidemic ranger or a cruel spear para with some command shouts would be better than a melee hero.
If you need a front liner for AR though, I would consider an [[Earth Shaker] warrior, using pretty much the same build as human players, just replacing [[whirlwind attack] for [[counter blow] Tek
I usually just Spirit Spam or heal/support when doing HM missions and vanq. If I'm bored with that, I'll switch to Channeling and spam the shit out of Spirit Rift for some massive spike damage. Check my post "My Ritualist" for the builds.

I've been doing vanguishes all weekend in GWEN, here's what I've been running.
[build=OAej4xiM5QlT2k7iLQUOxkLTXMA] Use is simple, lay down spirit before battle, call a target and use skills 2+3. Once it gets around 50%, use Assassin's Promise and then use skills 5 and 6 at the same time for Deep Wound, Cracked armor and around 155 armor ignoring damage. Once dead, repeat! Spam skill 7 if needed. P.S.- you can switch out skill 2 for [pain inverter]. Tek

This build is crap and I wouldn't recommend anyone using it. You guys need to stop focusing so much on PvE-based skills and start playing the Rit as they were ment to be played. upier

Actually if you are running with a decent PvE group - the build will work nicely because you have 3 insanely good PvE skills and AP.
Essence/Lamentation ARE the weakest parts of the build - BUT considering how fast foes die - you won't end up using them that many times. Nightow

Whatever floats your boat mate, I Just use what I find to work. The day it doesn't, it gets trashed. Mmm'kay?
