More Summon Skills For GW2?
Owik Gall
NOTE: I tried to find any threads that are the same as this, but didn't find any. So, if this looks oddly familiar I am sorry, but it was purely coincidental.
There are people who liked the monster summoning skills in EotN, like Mursaat or Ebon Vanguard Assassin. Would any of you like to see more skills like that with more monsters in GW2? (Basically, who wants to summon more monsters?! (excitement)) If so, what kinds of monsters would you like to summon? Do explain what the skill relates to, like if it's based on a title, or class specific. Also, describe the skill. What does the summoned monster do? What's the energy cost? How long does is the casting time? And, how long does it take to recharge?
I'm mainly curious of what you all think of the concept. If anyone can prove indefinitely that such an idea can't, or should never make it through to GW2, then we'll at least make this a fun thread and just post monsters to summon mainly for the fun of it.
However, if this is good, or decent enough for a serious consideration to put in GW2, then I suggest serious monster summon skills for that game. If you still want to make a monster summon skill just for fun, that's fine, but let the people know that the skill is as such.
Thank you all for your time. And please, just have some fun at this thread, no matter how ridiculous the concept might look to you. *Fingers crossed*
P.S. Mainly skills for PvE is what comes to mind, but if you think it would do good for PvP, then say so.

I find Summon Ruby Djinn and Ebon Vangard Assassin 2 of my most usefull skills lately. I almost never leave home without them. And combined with Ebon Battle Standard of Courage (extra armor) a very potent combo indeed. I certainly would like to see these skills in GW2 and others. I especially like that they get more potent as you max the title. But these skills are intended for PvE only and I can't see PvP wanting to use them as they would be too poweful.

I want to summon my characters from GW1 into GW2. That would be funny. "Summon Dragon Slash/SY godmode Warrior" Or "Summon Imbagon." Throw away balance and start breaking the game from the beginning! Best used on a Norn player, so you can play Bear.
And, yes, this should probably be in the GW2 Suggestions Thread, even though that one is a crowded, tangled mess.

15 Energy
2 Casting Time
60 Recharge Time
Summon a level 20 Doppleganger of target foe that lives for 20...50 seconds and uses the elite skill target foe has. If target foe has no elite skill, Doppleganger uses the last skill used by target foe. Only 1 Doppleganger can be active at a time.
Wouldn't this be fun...

I'd like to see the Rit scrapped for GW2 but swap their spirit spamming ability to the Necro and allow a new variation on the MM style of play. The ability to animate minions from corpses and maybe steal the soul/spirit/ghost of those dead bodies aswell would be pretty cool.
Imagine having fewer minions but being able to summon spirits to aid those minions and your party as a whole. And perhaps an elite skill could be to animate a undead version of enemies you've beaten. Eg - you kill a charr and use the skill to basically res that charr but control it as you're minion. I suppose a bit like a new variant to the flesh golem?
