Ventrillo and guild wars problem

Hi,

I've recently bought a new laptop which is running vista. I have set everything up and installed both guild wars and ventrillo. Both of the programs work fine together. However, when I load up ventrillo and guild wars, running in either a window or full screen, I cannot speak on ventrillo. I have run guild wars in a small enough window so I can view ventrillo. my symbol does not light up when I click my PTT key, so this means it does not work when guild wars is up. It does however work when guild wars is running, but not the active window.

Any help would be great.

Which key are you using? I have no problems with + on the numpad, but I'm running XP.

Pretty sure a guildie of mine experienced the same issues once.

If you're running Vista, make sure to run Ventrilo in Administrator mode. To do so, right click the icon for Vent and click "Run as Administrator".
