I personally think your chances are next to zero, stuff like this happens all the time, if they give you the eternal blade, they should give people the ectos and such they have missed in a similar way aswell, and this would be impossible to do.

Well, wat happened to me is a R8 Voltiac Spear droped and we all died at 60% DP

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess you guys did the Demon Assassin quest, but did not stay behind to kill the 4 Keeper of Souls.
