Tormented in HoM?

Hi guys, got a question for you.

Recently, there's been a rumor stemming from a In-game chat Regina had concerning the Hall of Monuments. Apparently, it had to do with the Weapons Monument possibly accepting weapons besides the Destroyer family of weapons. A lot of people are saying it might be the Tormented weapons from DoA.

My question (since I recently picked up my first armbrace and plan on never stepping foot in that horrid place again... ) is would it be better for me to hold off on selling that armbrace just this moment or do you think I should just simply ignore the rumors and sell the thing now?

I try to stay privy to certain things but the market (outside of what is wanted within our alliance) still eludes me.

If it is indeed Tormented weapons that are able to be added, then yes, the price of Armbraces will go up. However, no one knows what is going to happen. It is very difficult to say right now since it is all a rumor. If it happens and you want to put a Tormented in your HoM, than hold on to it. If you don't care about your HoM, then sell it.

If tormented are allowed in why not all gold items? Imo tormented weapons look like shit.

Possibly because you can simply get a cheap key, go outside, open a chest and get a gold item?
Despite how they look it actually takes some kind of effort to get a Torment weapon.

So do most Destroyer weapons. Your point?

Personally, the only weapons I see being added to the HoM would be Tormented, Deldrimor, and MAYBE the "Design-A-Weapon" weapons, possibly the gold version of the Faction End-Game greens as well. Nothing more though, unless they add in another set.

i wouldnt be surprised if you could add torm wep to HoM... Anet is always late with everything.

It's just a matter of time. They really don't hold any prestige anymore, almost every other fart has one.

Sell it if you need money, hold onto it if you feel like taking a gamble.
