How do you add your things to the Hall of Monuments?

I've unlocked the monuments using the tapestries, but i don't know how to put my things in it (example, minipets, heroes, etc)

You need some nails and a hammer.
Just put up whatever you want that way.

If the guide didn't help. When you go into the HoM, click on the mounment of ______ then there should be a box that you can click to view monument or something to that an effect.
Must have heroes in the party, mini pets in inv, armor on your body, destoryer wpns with you.

if you add armor or a weapon to the HoM do you still get it? or is it gone?

You still have it, of course. The weapons get customized, and the minipets get dedicated, but you still have them, and even if you destroy them of give them away, you'll still have the monument.
