That's not true, the 55 or 105/ss version is faster than the 600/smite. He could go as 105 or as SS. ATM i'm writing a guide how to do this, but i'm busy with school these days so it dousn't really progress.
I would suggest you go 105/ss, because you can make around 4 ecto's in +/- 35 min and it isn't that hard.

Seeing how many problems you encountered and how much money you wasted, have you ever considered the obvious fact that maybe farming UW isn't your type of thing? Who says that you must needs farm there in order to make money??
By now, this game abounds with farmable places in all varieties of difficulty, so why don't you just settle down with another spot that you can handle instead of spending your money on something you don't seem fit to do?
