Sword Hilts??

I have a Vampiric Sword Hilt I just bought, and can't use it...I have a purple Fiery Dragon Sword of Defense...and I know you can have a Vampiric Sword of Defense, is it because its a FDS, or purple, or what?? I'm pretty new to GW so...sorry...

The fiery dragon sword has a permanent fiery hilt so you can not replace it with vampiric.

Ah, thats what I was figuring, so I'd need another sword to place a pommel of defense, and the vampiric hilt on...alright thanks a bunch

Agreed with Mork. It'll work on most swords, but not an FDS.

fiery dragon sword and icy dragon sword both can not change there sword hilts.

Its the same with Firey bladed axe/icy bladed.etc

There are many weapons other than the ones listed above by others that will not accept a vamp hilt. Fiery Gladius is another one not listed above.
