i have several pictures that i would like to share with the forum..and the "Dingbat" competition looks cool to. But how do i get my .jpg to show up on my forum posts...half the time it just gives the url. The other half nothing at all shows up.
I bow to the greater minds of this forum and grovel for some help.
I have several diffrent pic hosting sites but they all kick back the same url or a thumbnail that is barely readable. My space and Image Hosting.
Thanks

GaaaaaH
use [ img ] [ /img ] (no spaces) around the path.
the other thing is that if the resolution is too big, then the mods convert them to url tags

Other then what GaaaaaH said, you can also attach the files when you go to the "Go Advance" setting, just scroll down a bit. It won't show as the actual pic but it will prevent not showing at all.

I've used imageshack.us with no problems for years. Just make sure you use the generated url that says "direct link."
Then, as above, it's [pre][img]image320.imageshack.us/picnamezxw[/img][/pre]
(Just an example )
[edit]Hmm, certainly seems to be your choice of image host. Possibly using the wrong generated link, but that pic you posted is natively thumbnail size. It's possible that that is the way that particular host works (saves bandwidth). Give http://imageshack.us a try.
See? That's the best I can do with your image - no difference.
