What's up with people wanting to buy shields that are Q7 with 15AR?
Q7 16AR exists so why not those? I've been wondering about this for over a year now.

Because uninscribable max req 7 shields with perfect mods are near impossible to find, and inscribable max req 7 shields don't drop.

Because Req 7 15 ar is much cheaper than ar16s, which almost never drop. It's nice to have more than just eight armor and still meet the requirement.

if u dont meet the req. u get 1/2 the armor... normally 8. so with a 15al shield would it round to 8? or 7?

if you dont meet req no advantage to the req 7 over a req 13

Q7/8 tactics shields help monks as well b/c it is normally their breakpoint for various stances, and plus it gives like 7 more armor since it meets the req. Very handy in RA and the little arenas.
